Dungeon Siege 3 features a complex mix of Abilities and Talents which govern the strength of your character as you level up in the game.

These abilities can be upgraded with certain proficiencies as enhancement or strengthen their effect and when combined with certain talents can deal maximum defensive or offensive blow to your enemies.

There are four main characters in the game, you will be accompanying each of these in the story during different quests but it is the coop during which you need to know the strength and weaknesses of these abilities, talents, and proficiencies.

How to Play With Lucas Montbarron

Lucas is a melee Warrior, son of the former Grand Master of legion. He is good in defense and melee attacks.

Lucas is good with swords and is master of two combat stances. He can either fight with a sword and shield to effectively counter single targets or when outnumbered he can use his two hands sword to deal maximum damage to multiple enemies and knock them back.

Lucas like any warrior is good in close combat, but vulnerable to long range combat since he has very few ranged attacks. You can use his roll to quickly squeeze the distance and strike your enemies, or you can avoid multiple enemies by rolling him into different directions and then isolating single targets and taking them on one by one.

Lucas’s Abilities and Proficiencies

As a close range warrior, Lucas abilities and proficiencies focus on dealing high damage and restoring his Hit Points (HP) quickly.

Shield Pummel

33 Focus Points per use, 1 Powered Sphere when empowered.
Lucas strikes the enemies with his Shield dealing 20 percent damage to everyone and stunning the opponents for 3 seconds. The powered Shield Pummel affects all the enemies in area of effect.

Brutal Pummel
Additional 20% damage per rank.

Impetuous Slam
Additional 20% chance to knock down an opponent.

You can use Lucas’s Shield Pummel to inflict damage or to make a hasty escape route for yourself in case you get stuck in multiple enemies. It stuns the enemies you strike for 3 seconds, making it first choice ability in thick of situations. Don’t forget to upgrade it to Brutal Pummel to increase the damage.

Blade Dash

50 Focus Points per use, 1 Power Sphere when empowered.
Blade dash lets Lucas slash his enemies with his blade in a lightening fast speed. An empowered blade dash will let him move from enemy to enemy until he runs out of power.

Additional 20% damage per rank to bleeding targets.

Lightening Precision
10% chance per rank to critically hit with Blade Dash.

Lucas can combat multiple enemies using this ability and its efficiency is greatly increased if you fully rank up Lightening Precision. It would increase the chance of landing a critical hit with every strike. So, instead of investing in both proficiencies, invest all in Lightening Precision.

Grace Repose

1 Power Sphere per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Upon using this ability, Lucas will enter a state or Repose, regenerating 50% of his health for next 30 seconds. Party enjoys the benefits when you use his empowered ability.

Live by the Sword
You gain 5% life steal per rank under the effect of Grace Repose.

Combat Rage
You get 5% more power from the damage taken per rank in Combat Rage.

You unlock this ability when you reach Level 2 but you need at least 1 power sphere to activate this ability. Block your enemy attacks to accumulate power and then activate Grace Repose to recover health. Go for Live by the Sword if you want to recover your health while damaging opponents on the go.

If you like it tough, rank up Combat Rage and you will gain extra power to unleash your rage on your enemies. It will also help you activate other defensive abilities since you accumulate power quickly. It becomes very beneficial ability late in the game.

Heroic Charge

25 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
A charge followed by a powerful strike. When empowered, this charge will be enough to knock down an opponent and inflict significantly more damage.

Willful Charge
Additional 20% damage per second (DPS).

Executioner’s Charge
Heroic Charge with this proficiency automatically lands a critical hit on any enemy with less than 10% health. With 2 talent points invested, it lands a critical hit on any enemy with less than 20% health and so on with each additional rank.

While with Lucas you will be relying greatly on Shield Pummel during the early stages of the game, Heroic Charge will become your primary option against the foes that you encounter during the later stages. Rank Up executioner’s charge to increase Lucas’s ability to land critical hits.

This will also help you fight against the bosses. You should avoid spending points in Shield Pummel while you can, rank up Blade Dash and Graceful Repose instead. Buy Heroic Charge when it becomes available.

Wind Shear

25 Focus Points per use, 1 Power Sphere when empowered.
A vortex is created when Lucas Slash through the air damaging everyone in its path. After it hits at least eight enemies, it disappears. When it is empowered, it knocks down every enemy it strikes.

Wounding Gale
Additional 20% chance per rank.

Slowing Shear
Those affected by Wind Shear are slowed by 10% per rank.

It’s a second tier ability and makes an interesting combo with Blade Dash. Rank it up fully in Wounding Gale proficiency with Blade Dash’s Hemorrhage proficiency. First bleed your enemies with Wounding Gale Wind Sheer and then cut them down with extra damage of Hemorrhage Blade Dash.

Shield Wall

1 Power Sphere per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
A defensive wall that increases Lucas’s armor by 20% for 30 seconds. When empowered, its benefits are extended to the whole party.

Deflecting Shield
Increased defensive blocking up by 20% per rank when under the effects of Shield Wall.

Reflexive Defenses
You will be able to reflect 10% damage back to your enemy when this ability is activated.

Good defensive ability that helps you hold longer against the odds. You can combine Shield Wall with Graceful Repose to make Lucas an unstoppable warrior. You can rank up Reflexive Defenses to reflect the damage your enemies inflict upon you.

Or rank up deflecting shield to block enemy attacks for longer period without wasting your focus points. This will help you reserve your power which in turn will help you unleash empowered attacks on your enemies more often.

Vanguard’s Strike

40 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Lucas unleashes a powerful attack from the air and knocks down its enemies while inflicting damage. When empowered, it knocks down even the enemies standing nearby.

Vanguard’s Gale
When activated pushes the nearby enemies to 1m and slows them down 10% for 5 seconds. Each additional rank adds 1 meter push and 10% slowness.

Valorous Renewal
When you defeat an enemy with Vanguard’s attack, you gain 5 Focus Points per rank.

Vanguard Strike is very effective against single targets. You can use it against powerful enemies to deal them maximum blow or you can use it to slow down your enemies to find an escape route. When fully ranked, Vanguard Strike’s damage is unmatched.

Earthrending Strike

50 Focus Points per use, 1 Power Sphere when empowered.
Lucas draws energy from the ground by slamming his sword into the ground which in turn damages everyone in the damage radius. When empowered, Earthrending Strike creates a circle around Lucas, knocking down every enemy around him.

Additional 20% chance to be knock down the enemies per rank.

Each rank extends the range of Earthrending Strike by 2m.

Great ability to counter multiple enemies at once, it will be sometimes your only hope to survive the large group of enemies. Rank up Tremor to ensure you knock down all enemies, leaving them defenseless for several seconds while you recover.

Unbridled Wrath

1 Power Sphere per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Lucas regenerates 200 Focus Points over the span of 30s when this ability is activated. When empowered, the entire party benefits from this ability.

Unstoppable Wrath
20% more chance per rank to avoid getting interrupted by enemy while under Unbridled Wrath.

Endless Wrath
Lucas Focus regeneration is increased by additional 10% per rank in Endless Wrath.

Activating this ability will let you use combat abilities far more often. Rank up Endless Wrath to generate as much focus as you can. Use all your abilities while under its effect so that you don’t waste any available Focus.

Lucas Talents

Devastating Criticals
Critical Hits deal an additional 10 percent bonus damage per rank. This talent perfectly combines with Blade Dash ability when upgraded with maximum ranks in Lightening Strike. Upgrade Devastating Criticals as you rank up Blade Dash and you will considerable advantage against your enemies in early phase of the game.

Victory Rush
4% chance to regain health as Lucas defeat an enemy. If you want to make the best out of Victory Rush. Rank up the abilities that are best against multiple enemies at a time like Blade Dash and Wind Shear. Once you have them ranked up, rank up Victory Rush and enjoy 20% health regeneration every time you kill an enemy.

Force of Will
10% of will power granted as attack with each rank. Rank Up Force of Will and equip good Gear and your DPS will increase up to 50%. Now, you need to enhance your will to maximize damage output.

Wrathful Might
4% bonus to attack per rank. If you are looking for high damaging talent, look no further. You can easily add up to 20% more damage to every attack by ranking up Wrathful Might.

Focused Strikes
4% chance in Focused Strikes to generate additional focus when attacking enemies. You can easily gain 5 bonus focus points each time you kill an enemy. More focus means you have access to more devastating attacks against your enemies.

Increases healing by 4% per rank. You will be in the middle of battle almost all the time so recovering health after these encounters becomes a top priority. You can recover health in multiple ways and if you want to get the best out of each healing point your receive, rank up this talent.

Death Defying
When you are low on health under 25%, you will receive 7 additional chance per rank to shrug off attacks. You will be able to survive for extended period of time but it will depend on how you have upgraded your other abilities and talents.

Trade Master
Sell items for 4% more Gold. Rank up this talent and you will be seeing an increase of 20% profit as you sell items. You can loot a whole lot of items but it’s the rare items in Dungeon Siege 3 that sell for most profits.

Focused Rage
5% chance to generate focus in Rage when damaged by enemies. You can combo this talent with other focus-based abilities to generate extra focus that you would need to unleash your combat abilities even more on your enemies.

Cull of the Weak
Additional 2% chance to land a critical hit on weakened enemies per rank. You can rank this talent along with other related abilities to make your strikes even more lethal.

How to Play With Anjali

Angela is a long range combatant, effective with melee in close range since she can inflict damage to multiple enemies at once, and can set enemies ablaze. She is a creation of fire, an archon raised by the Legion.

She can switch between her human form and archon form. In her human form, she fights with staff. This allows her to deal with multiple enemies, while still retaining the ability to quickly get in and out of the battle. In archon form, she can burn her enemies with fire and inflict wounds that injure her opponents over time.

While playing with Angela, you can either use her melee abilities and fend off enemies in close range or use her fire support from range in her archon form.

Anjali’s Abilities and Proficiencies

Anjali is a versatile character. Most of her human abilities revolve around inflicting damage to multiple enemies. While her archon form mainly deals with ranged attacks that damage the enemies over time.

She can also summon a Fire creature to fight by her side, it helps in diverting the attention of the enemies.

Spinning Kick

25 Focus Point per use, 1 Power Sphere when empowered.
Spinning Kick damages all enemies in front of Anjali. When empowered, it will knock down all enemies.

Crushing Impact
Additional 10% chance per rank to stun enemies.

Fire Dance
20% chance per rank to inflict a burning damage-over-time effect.

Spinning Kick is Anjal’s default combat ability, which is very useful during the early phase of the game. You can purchase Crushing Impact to gain 50% chance to stun your enemies when you unleash Anjali’s Spinning Kick. It’s a very effective group stun for crowd control. You can add one or two ranks in Fire Dance to further increase the effectiveness of Spinning Kick.

Aura of Immolation

30 Focus Points per use, 1 Power Sphere when empowered.
Aura of Immolation creates a circle of heat that burns the area for 9 seconds. Enemies caught in the area of effect take damage over time. You can use the empowered attack to increased the intensity of the attack. Enemies have a greater chance of getting stunned inside the circle of heat.

Fiery Presence
Each rank increases the Aura’s damage by 10%.

Anjali and any of her companions in Aura will get healed slowly up to two points of their Hit Points with each rank.

When you get surrounded by the enemies, unleash Anjali’s Auro of Immolation. It doesn’t inflict much damage but is enough to keep the weaker enemies at bay.

This ability is really useful when you are in close spaces like corridors, where the enemies will find it hard to escape the fire. Rank Up Fiery presence and you will deal more damage to your foes but Cauterize is more useful in party battles.

Inner Warmth

1 Power Sphere per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Anajli enters an inner state of warmth and heals herself, regenerating 50% of her health in a span of 30 seconds. Use the empowered ability to share the benefits with the party members.

Searing Warmth
Additional 10% chance per rank to deal damage to enemies when they attack.

Rejuvenating Spark
2% health regeneration per rank when used.

Block enemy attacks to accumulate power and then use the Inner Warmth to recover your health in the thick of battles. It is also one of the very first abilities you get to purchase.

Rank it up with Rejuvenating Spark to recover more HP when Inner Warmth is activated. You like to engage yourself in close combat, rank up Searing Warmth as it will allow you to reflect up to 50% of the damage your receive from your enemies.

Hurl Spear

25 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Anjali throws her spear towards her enemies damaging them all in straight line in front of her. Empowered throw will inflict greater damage and will bounce from target to target.

Blinding Strike
5% chance per rank to experience the stun when attacked with Hurled Spear.

Incendiary Javelin
20% chance per rank to set the opponents ablaze when attacked by Hurled Spear.

It’s a second tier ability with range and good damage especially at such a low Focus cost. Rank up in Incendiary Javelin for maximum effectiveness, dealing damage over time is very beneficial. Or you can rank up Blinding Strike for a chance to stun the enemies, useful for crowd control.

Summon Jackal

60 Focus Points per use, 1 Power Sphere when empowered.
Anjali summons a Fire Jackal to fight alongside her. The empowered version of the Jackal will detonate..

Tireless Companion
Each rank adds additional bonus to the hit points of the companion.

Canine Conflagration
10% chance per rank of inflicting a burning damage-over-time effect.

Fire Jackal is very effective companion in combat, he can draw attention away from Anjali or can be sacrificed for greater good. Rank up Tireless Companion and also invest few ranks in Canine Conflagration to add maximum burning damage to Jackal’s attacks.


1 Power Sphere per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Anjali will set her weapon ablaze increasing its damage per second. When used empowered, it would set ablaze the weapons of all party members.

Everlasting Flame
When hit by the Ignited weapon, enemies will have 20% chance per rank to be set afire.

Radiating Warmth
5% chance per rank to regain health.

If you like to melee with Anjali, you should opt for this ability as it drastically increases the effectiveness of melee combat. By investing in Radiating Warmth you get a chance of up to 50% to regain health equal to 50% of the melee damage she does to her enemies. If you invest in Everlasting Flame, you will get equal chance to set your enemies on fire when hit by ignited weapon.

Fall from the Heavens

55 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Anjali jumps into air and strikes at the targeted location inflicting high damage. Fall from the Heavens creates a radius of damage-over-time at the locations she strikes.

Thunderous Descent
10% chance per rank to knock down enemies affected by Fall from the Heavens.

Heaven’s Fury
Additional 10% damage per rank by Fall from the Heavens.

Pillar of Fire

50 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Anjali summons a massive pillar of fire at the targeted location. When empowered, it creates a wall of flame which is wider and more destructive.

Staggering Heat
Pillar of Fire slows enemies by 15% per rank.

Relentless Inferno
Each rank increases Pillar of Fire’s damage by 10%.

Pillars of Fire is your answer to multiple enemies in case you get outnumbered. It persists for 3 seconds and extended to six when empowered but such is the damage and damage radius that makes it most devastating attack against multiple enemies.

You can either increase its damage by investing in Relentless Inferno or make your enemies slower by ranking up Staggering Heat. It all depends on your style of play.

Volatile Barrier

1 Power Sphere per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Anjali creates a magical barrier around her that lasts for 30 seconds. If it absorbs 25% of her health, it will explode, causing damage. When empowered, each member of the party is shielded by the magical barrier.

Shroud of Radiance
Barrier can absorb 10% more damage per rank before it collapses.

Fiery Backlash
The explosion from Volatile Barrier inflicts additional 20% damage per rank.

Volatile Barrier is a defensive ability which can also enhance the attacking potential. Rank Up Fiery Backlash proficiency to further increase its damage or rank up Shroud of Radiance to make the barrier stronger defensively. Every rank invested in Shroud of Radiance reduces the odds that Volatile Barrier will explode during the combat.

Anjali Talents

She has an interesting mix of combat and agility talents that that improve upon her Archon abilities and her melee combat style. You should consider your play style ultimately to decide which talents you want to upgrade.

Radiant Will
5% bonus per rank to Will. More Will mean would result in more devastating combat abilities with high DPS.

Phoenix’s Warmth
10% chance per rank to regenerate life. Angali can recover up to 5% of her HP every time she takes damage. Not much but can be useful when ranked up, you may be ending up using it the most.

Grace of Flame
5% agility per rank which also applies to block value. Angali’s isn’t a Warrior so her defensive skills aren’t on par compared to a Warrior. You should rank up Grace of Flame to improve her blocking value to strengthen her defense especially if you opt to engage in melee combats more often than not.

Angali’s critical hits will grant her more focus with this talent and it will increase with each rank. Each rank in this talent will enable Anjali to recover 2 Focus when she lands a critical hit. You can rank up Spirtual Devastation and Grace of Flame to increase Anjal’s chance to land critical hits, this way you can enjoy maximum benefits of militancy.

Spiritual Devastation
Critical Hits have 4% chance to stun the enemies in Spiritual Devastation. Critical hits are crucial and it doesn’t get any better when they have a chance to stun the enemies for 3 seconds. Rank Up this talent for 20% chance to stun enemies when you land a critical hit.

Additional 4% heal per rank. If you are opting to go all out against enemies with Anjali, rank up Radiance so she has a better chance to survive.

Defender’s Advantage
When Anjali blocks, she gets defender’s advantage leading to bonus damage for 10 seconds.

Fury of Fire
Anjali enters a combat Fury, dealing 10% more damage to her opponents. Fury of Fire gives 2% more damage per rank, combine it with other archon damage dealing abilities and you will have devastating attacks at your disposal.

Everytime Anjali is hit, there is a 3% chance the attacker will suffer a damage over time burning effect. Good if you prefer to melee the enemies and prefer the close combat.

Critical hits have a chance to spawn an area of effect attack that knocks down the opponents. Another useful talent that would enhance Anjali’s critical hits and crowd control abilities. You can rank it up to gain maximum of 15% chance to knock down your opponents.

How to Play With Reinhart Manx

Reinhart Manx is a mage, who has been shown particularly wise in the game. He can destroy multiple enemies with his arcane magic but is vulnerable in close range combat so keep him in distance as a support character.

Reinhart Abilities and Proficiencies

Reinharts abilities with complementing proficiencies are typical of mage. Decide which abilities you like to use often and then select the corresponding talents that complement those abilities.

Lightening Strike

25 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
A bolt of lightning that strikes the target, a ball of lightening when empowered.

Lightening Strike is followed by a shockwave that stuns enemies nearby for 0.4 seconds.

Power Surge
Lightening Strike gets 10% chance per rank to bounce to the next opponent.

Lightening Strike is a powerful ability that deals massive damage but is slow, you can end up being crowded by enemies if you aren’t careful. Rank up Thunderclap to be on the safe side of things or rank up Power Surge to deal more damage.

Clockwork Trap

30 Focus Points per use, 1 Power Sphere when empowered.
Reinhart summons a deadly trap at his feet. Anyone crossing it will detonate the trap, unleashing a blast. Casting an empowered Clockwork Trap will detonate all other clockwork traps and with more intensity.

Temporal Distortion
Enemies have a 12% chance per rank to be slowed down by 2% when they detonate the trap.

Force Magnification
Clockwork traps causes 10% more damage per rank.

Clockwork Traps is an interesting ability which can be used strategically to your advantage. Cast the trap, lure the enemy towards you, and then let them detonate it. However traps remains active for 15 seconds only.

You can rank up Force Magnification to increase the damage of the blast. Temporal Distortion is also useful, it slows the enemies down for you to finish them off with your entropic magic.

Circle of Healing

1 Power Sphere per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Circle of Healing is a healing spell that restores 50% health over the time span of 30 seconds. When empowered, who le party enjoys the benefits.

Vector Dampening
When Circle of Healing is active, Reinhart takes less damage, 5% per rank.

Aggressive Defense
Enemies suffer damage over time effect as long as they remain near to Reinhart.

it’s a very much needed defense ability of Reinhart and if you want to ensure longer survival, rank up Vector Dampening and Aggressive Defense. Which will periodically restores his health and also deal minor damage over time to enemies nearby when the Circle of Healing is active.

Mirror Leap

40 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
When used, teleports Reinhart to chosen location leaving behind a mirror image decoy. When empowered, the decoy lures enemies toward it to create a diversion even when Reinhart is nearby.

Temporal Wake
Each time Mirror Leap is used, it stuns the nearby enemies for 1-3 seconds.

Damaging Illusion
Reinhart Decoy reflects 10% damage back to the attacker and it is increased 2% per rank.

Handy second tier ability, good to escape the danger when surrounded by enemies. You can rank up Temporal Wake to stun enemies nearby as you depart, making it more convenient for you to reach the safe zone or you can rank up Damaging Illusion to keep your enemies busy with your decoy giving you enough time to come up with a strategy and counter your enemies.

Geometry of Annihilation

60 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Conjures a circle of energy at target location, injuring all the enemies in the circle. When empowered, the summoned circle of energy damages more over time and stun enemies in its area of effect.

Enduring Negation
Geometry of Annihilation remains in effect for 2 more seconds per rank.

Temporal Inversion
Enemies hit by Geometry of Annihilation are slowed by 5% per rank and all the allies in the circle receive 5% agility bonus per rank.

It’s another second tier defensive ability. Divide some ranks in both of these abilities for maximum effectiveness.

Barrier Field

1 Power Sphere per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
It summons a powerful barrier around Reinhart that absorbs maximum of 33% Hit Points. When empowered, all party members enjoy the benefits.

Equal and Opposite Reaction
When barrier is active, 10% melee damage per rank is reflected back.

Angle of Incidence
Barrier field has 10% chance to reflect the projectile that attack Reinhart.

Barrier field is Reinhart’s second tier defensive ability that absorbs all damage until it reaches its limit. Invest some ranks in both of the proficiencies to punish your enemies for both melee and ranged attacks.


5 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Reinhart unleashes a torrent of energy at the target as long as the attack is held or until he runs out of focus. Empowered Electrocute unleashes a powerful current of electricity on a single target until it is held or Reinhart runs out of power.

Arc Mage
Additional splash damage to enemies near the target.

Electocute inflicts 5% more damage per rank.

Unleash electrocute to inflict huge damage in a short period of time. You can rely on this ability in your fight against bosses and other tough opponents. You can rank up both of its proficiencies to get the maximum out of this ability.

Creative Destruction

5 Focus Points per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
Fires a blast as long as the attack is held or until Reinhart runs out of focus. Empowered Creative Destruction stuns all targets and inflicts more damage.

Siphon Life
Reinhart recovers hit points equal to 3% per rank of the damage he inflicts with Creative Destruction.

Entropy’s Shackles
Enemies struck by Creative Destruction take 5% more damage per rank.

Top tier ability against multiple enemies or a group of enemies and capable of healing equal to 5% of damage inflicted by Creative Destruction. You can use this ability to weaken the swarming enemies while healing your party members at the same time. Rank up both of its proficiencies, since they are equally good for different reasons.

Perpetual Momentum

1 Power Sphere per use, 2 Power Spheres when empowered.
For 30 seconds, Reinhart slowly recovers his focus but is immune to stunning and slowing effect. When empowered, benefits are extended to party members.

Heightened Concentration
Focus generation is increased by 12% per rank.

Mind Over Mortality
Any healing received is increased by 5% per rank.

Top tier defensive ability that is used to regenerate focus in order to unleash the powerful attacks more often in the battle. When active, Reinhart recovers 50 Focus Points in 30 seconds.

More focus points can be gained by ranking up Heightened Concentration up to a maximum of 30 additional Focus Points. Or you can rank up in Mind Over Mortality to make it your ultimate defense with maximum healing capabilities.

Reinhart Talents

Reinhart Talents amplify its already power combat abilities. Few of them can weak or slow down the enemies to set the stage for Reinhart to finish them off with his entropic magic. Take note of what abilities you use the most, then consider the talents that you need to upgrade.

Reinhart’s Will is increased 4% per rank. Combine it Quick Thinking to increase the power and damage output. This talent increases the effectiveness of the combat abilities so better max it out first.

Dynamic Mastery
Enemies hit by Lightning Strike, Mirror Leap, or Electrocute suffer an additional 3% damage per rank. This talents grant bonus damage to Reinhart’s abilities against single targets.

Entropic Mastery
Enemies hit by Clockwork Trap, Geometry of Annihilation, or Creative Destruction suffer drained status losing 3% attack power per rank. The drained status effect lasts for 10 seconds. You can combine this talent Ruin and Restoration for a small chance of gaining the small amount of HP back from drained enemies.

Quick Thinking
Increases agility which results in increased DPS per rank. It adds half of his agility score back to DPS hence increasing the damage of all of his combat abilities. Agility also determines character’s chance to land a critical hit making this talent essentially important for combat characters. Max it out whenever it becomes available to you.

Amount of money acquired from piles of Gold is increased by 20%. Only becomes profitable late in the game, so only devote few ranks in this talent which you are in need of extra cash in the latter stages of the game.

Eureka Moment
Each time Reinhart lands a critical hit, he recovers 2% of his power. Combine it with Quick Thinking for maximum benefit. Increase agility will help you land critical hits and with this talent you will be recovering your power on the go, allowing you to unleash more of your powerful defensive and offensive attacks.

Timely Escape
Each time Reinhart dodges, he unleashes a slowing effect close to where he started the dodge. Slowing effect is a much needed talent since it allows you enough time to unleash a powerful attack on your fast approaching enemy. Slowing effect of this talent is increased by 10% per rank and lasts for five seconds. Enough time for Reinhart to unleash a devastating entropic assault.

Ruin and Restoration
Drained enemies have a 2% chance per rank to lose Hit Points which are transferred to Reinhart. Pair it with Entropic Mastery for maximum combat efficiency.

Adept Spell Casting
Focus of all the abilities is reduced by 4% per rank. Cheaper focus cost would mean more powerful attacks available at your disposal. Combine Adept Spell Casting with Quick Thinking and Genius to unleash powerful attacks more often.

Shock and Awe
Reinhart’s charged status effect has 2% chance per rank to inflict a short stun. Combine this talent with Dynamic Mastery for combat efficiency. Though there is less chance of successful stun but still the full 3 second stun on enemies can be far more beneficial in the thick of situation.
