Dungeon Defenders 2 Pre-Alpha Launches on PS4 in a Week!

Trendy Entertainment has announced that Dungeon Defenders 2 pre-alpha version will go live on PS4 on September 29.

Did you love Dungeon Defenders 2 when it was originally released for PC? If you did, now is your chance to try out the tower defense / action RPG on PlayStation 4. The game’s pre-alpha version is launching on September 29, 2015!

The designer and marketing director for developer Trendy Entertainment, Philip Asher has announced via a post on the official PlayStation US blog that you will be able to try out the game in just a week’s time on Sony’s latest console.

For this version we’re shipping two of our favorite Dungeon Defenders features for the first time in the sequel — controller support (obviously) and two-player local co-op. We can’t wait for you to get your hands, literally, on these and let us know what you think. But please note that Dungeon Defenders II is still under development!

It is going to be important to know that Dungeon Defenders 2 is still in development because Asher iterates that while local co-op and controller support will make it to you right away, certain other features as well as content is going to make you wait for some time.

Last but not the least, in order to access the game you will have to purchase a currency bundle on PlayStation Store on the game’s launch day. However, after Dungeon Defenders 2 finally gets the full release it will be free to play – with microtransactions.
