Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Crashing Fix
Many players are reporting that the game crashes on startup. If you are also facing this issue then worry not; there are a few methods that you can try to get rid of it.
First, make sure that you have the latest graphics driver running on your computer. If not, go to the official website of your graphics card manufacturer and find the most recent driver that is compatible with your Windows OS. Download and install that driver on your computer to see if it fixes the issue.
If the crashes continue to occur, you can try disabling the full-screen optimization feature. Also make sure that you are not running multiple applications and downloads in the background. Close unnecessary programs that can take resources and cause your game to crash.
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Not Launching
It is very frustrating when you want to play the game but it fails to launch. One possible reason for this issue is that your computer is not powerful enough to run the game. Check the DBZ Kakarot’s minimum PC requirements and make sure your computer meets these requirements. If not, upgrade your hardware first.
Next, try to run your game as an administrator. To do so, find the game installation folder, right-click on it and select “Properties”. Click the “Compatibility” tab and check “Run as Administrator”.

All you need to do is verify the integrity of your game files in the Steam app. Go to “Library”, right-click “Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot” and select “Properties”. Click the “Local files” tab, then click “Verify Integrity Of Game Files”. Steam will check your game files and fix any corrupted files that might be causing trouble.
DirectX Error Fix
Many Kakarot players on forums are reporting getting the DirectX error. This error is common for players running older GPUs, but not limited to them. Some players with the newer-generation graphics cards are also experiencing this issue. Go to your In-game settings > Video, and lower down your graphics settings a bit. If you’re an Nvidia GeForce user, go to your Nvidia Control Panel, click Manage 3D Settings and choose Program Settings. Click Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and set the Vertical Sync to “Adaptive Half Refresh-Rate”. Go back to your in-game graphics settings and disable V. Sync. Now the game will run at flat 30FPS.
No Mouse & Keyboard Support
Many players are complaining about not having the mouse and keyboard support. The game actually lets you swap between the 3 as follows:

No Audio Fix
No audio or partial audio in the game is mainly caused by the wrong audio channels selected for the game. To fix this issue, go to Control panel > Sound, and select your active audio device. Click on “Configure”, then select stereo and follow the setup.
If the problem persists, disable Windows Sonic for Headphones. Simply right-click on the speaker icon in your system tray, hover over Spacial sound and when it expands, select Off.
