Dragon Ball FighterZ Season Two Teased, What Characters Will Be Coming?

The Dragon Ball FighterZ Season Two season pass was teased recently, and we'll hopefully find out more about it on January 26 and 27.

At the Dragon Ball Games Super Showcase that happened recently, Dragon Ball FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki hinted at the existence of Dragon Ball FighterZ Season Two and a season pass to go with it, though right now he can’t talk about it. We’ll likely know more at the FighterZ World Tour finals.

Dragon Ball FighterZ released last year to a hugely positive reaction, allowing players to get a good Dragon Ball fighting game the likes of which hadn’t been seen since the Tenkaichi Budokai games many years ago. FighterZ, despite a fairly small roster at the start, spent its season getting a large number of different characters beyond the initial roster.

DLC gave us characters like Goku’s father Bardock, Broly, Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, Fused Zamasu, Cooler, Android 17, and Goku and Vegeta in their base forms. With so many different other characters that have appeared in Dragon Ball Super since the game released, we might get other characters from it in the future.

This could include things like Jiren, Ultra Instinct Goku, the new version of Broly that featured in the newest Dragon Ball movie, other Pride Patrol members like Toppo and Dispo, and the Trio de Dangers, Bergamo, Lavender, and Basil, not to mention others that might come later.

Either way, Hiroki has said that we’ll have to wait and see what comes until the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour finals, which will be taking place on January 26 and 27. We’ll likely know more then, but whether we’ll be seeing all of the characters that are added, or just two to begin with, remains to be seen. To make it even more exciting, Masayuki Hirano, who is the producer of the upcoming Nintendo Switch game Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, has said something else will be announced.

With how well-received and different all of the different Season One characters were (even if there are now three different versions of Vegeta and Goku taking up parts of the roster), hopefully what Dragon Ball FighterZ Season Two characters there are, and what all Dragon Ball-related things will be released.
