Dragon Age Inquisition DLC is Not the Priority of BioWare, Yet

Alright I understand everyone is super siked about getting the latest iteration of Dragon Age as early as in two weeks; and it also makes sense that people want to talk about more than just that, like the expected Dragon Age Inquisition DLC material.

However that is not something that the lead designer Mike Laidlaw is ready to talk about just yet. In his opinion, although there will be single player DLC for the game, it is not something that they are running in the mill at full speed right now.

He says that the team has been on the game’s development for three whole years and would like some peace of mind before getting at the downloadable content packs:

I get it; DLC’s supposed to be the devil. I think there’s good DLC and bad DLC. Bad DLC feels like it was ripped out and deliberately kept kind of cordoned off. We’re sure not making that.

As we wrap things down, honestly – it’s been a three year journey for us. The team’s mostly gonna go lie down for a while. In terms of single-player DLC that’s not really on my radar right now. I’m mostly finishing.

There still is going to be DLC for the game though, that is something they can’t run from, right? We already know a lot about what the game has to offer, so what will the future hold?

Dragon Age Inquisition is slated for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Watch out for it on November 18, 20, 21, and 27 in North America, Australia, European Union and Japan respectively.

On an ending note, don’t you think it is a bit too early to talk about Dragon Age Inquisition DLC updates?
