Doom Has Been Removed From The List Of Xbox One X Enhanced Titles

Xbox One X will launch later this year and Microsoft has revealed the list of enhanced games for the console which also included Doom. However, it seems that Microsoft has silently removed Doom for the list of Xbox One X enhanced titles and didn’t even explained why.

It is somewhat surprising the removal of Doom for the list of Xbox One X enhanced titles since other games from Bethesda such as Dishonored 2, Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, and Fallout 4 are being enhanced for the console. No statement has been released either by Bethesda or Microsoft.

Speaking of Xbox One X, Microsoft has revealed that response to the console has been “overwhelming” and the stock at many of the top retailers has been sold out. According to Xbox marketing general manager Aaron Greenberg, Microsft will be producing as many Xbox One X units as possible to meet the demand.

We’ll see. We’re gonna make as many Xbox One Xs as we can make. All the signs are that it’s gonna be the number one hit product of this Holiday, so we’re gonna keep up with demand the best that we can.

Also, many fans are worried that the 4K Games on the upcoming console will take too much space since Forza Motorsports 7 take over 100 GB on Xbox One X. However, Microsoft is looking into a cloud based tech to counteract this issue.

Mike Ybarra revealed that Microsoft has a plan for 4K games to take less space on the user’s hard drives using a solution similar to cloud storage. “On the platform side [we’re] looking at things like what we call internally ‘Intelligent Delivery”.

Xbox One X will be available on November 7, 2017, in the US and will be priced at $499 and will come with games such as Forza Motorsport 7, Halo 5 and more.
