Much like other looter-shooter games like Destiny and the original Division game, the Division 2 endgame content is going to be coming at the very end of a long road that will make it feel like a reward to you. In addition to new content, weapons, specializations, and more, you’ll also get another faction.
The Division 2 takes out out of the streets of New York and into one of America’s other major cities, Washington DC. Here you’ll be repeating the process of the first game, restoring order, cleaning up the streets, and investigating what happened to cause the city to become this way. Like the first game, multiple different factions will be standing in your way.
In the case of the Division 2 endgame content, one of the factions, which will only appear in the endgame, is the Black Tusks, a very tech-heavy paramilitary group equipped with drones, technology, state of the art weapons, and dogs, all of which are sure to give you a fight. They will also likely figure into the game’s first raid, an eight-player adventure.
However, getting to the endgame content won’t be easy. Players will have to rebuild a power base in the city by repairing their equipment, clearing out spots of enemy faction activity, and rescuing civilians to help restore order to Washington DC.
Once you’ve done all of this, you’ll be able to access the Division 2 endgame content for yourself. You can do most of it with a friend, but Ubisoft has also made it easier for you to either create a clan of your own, or join one that already exists.
The Division 2 will be releasing on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC (on the Epic Store) on March 15, but if you were a fan of the first Division game or are interested in getting into it now, you can pre-order the game today and get guaranteed access to the game’s beta, which will be running from February 7 to February 10.
