Game Developers Choice Awards Finalists Include God of War and RDR 2, Who Will Win?

The 19th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards are ready to take place this year with RDR 2 and God of War leading the nominations.

The 19th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards are ready to take place this year and Rockstar Games’ “Red Dead Redemption 2” is in the finalists with most nominations. Rockstar Games’ “Red Dead Redemption 2” has left behind God of War in Game Developers Choice Awards mentions with total 7 nominations.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2) has been nominated for Best Audio, Best Design, Innovation Award, Best Narrative, Best Technology, Best Visual Art, and Game of the Year at the upcoming 19th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards.

Followed by Red Dead Redemption 2, Sony Santa Monica’s “God of War” and Insomniac Games’ “Marvel’s Spider-Man” come at second spot with a total of 6 nominations in Game Developers Choice Awards 2019. God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man have been also nominated for Best Audio, Best Design, Best Narrative, Best Technology, Best Visual Art and Game of the Year award at Game Developers Choice Awards 2019.

Game Developers Choice Awards 2019 ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 6:30 pm at the San Francisco Moscone Center. This Game Developers Choice Awards 2019 is a part of 2019 Game Developers Conference (GDC).

According to the organizers, Game Developers Choice Awards 2019 will be hosted by “Tim Schafer, LucasArts industry veteran and founder of Double Fine Productions (Psychonauts 2)”. You will need to have GDC 2019 pass to attend GDCA and IGF Awards. The Award Show will be also streamed live on Twitch here.

Both winners and nominations for GDCA are selected by Game Developers Choice Awards-specific International Choice Awards Network (ICAN). This is an invite-only organization which consists of big game creators from the big parts of this amazing gaming industry.
