Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris DLC: Should You Buy?

Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC just came out and you can play it right now if you want to. There are a couple of people that are not buying the Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC and then there are those that have already gone through the DLC. I for one have already finished the campaign and I am going to talk about whether or not you should get Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC.

Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC continues where you left off. The traveler has awoken but while you were fighting to reclaim the last city there are bigger threats on Mercury. This is where you need to go next in order to continue your epic journey.  Mercury is a great place and the story takes you to the future and the past of the planet so the contrast is fascinating indeed.

Comparing the future to the past and present we see what the Vex are capable of and I think that this element of the story stressed on the fact that the world was in actual danger rather than just talking about it in theory. We see for ourselves what will happen if the Vex is not defeated. That is one part of the campaign that I really liked.

Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris DLC Campaign

The campaign is a good one overall. There might not be plenty to do and it only took me 4 hours to get through it all but the story is pretty well put together I had plenty of fun going through the campaign. The progression is pretty slow but that is something that is yet to be fixed. Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC brings some new music that was cool to hear in specific parts of the game.

I do feel that the campaign was a short one but then again the campaign of the case game was not too big either. If you thought you would be getting another 5-8 hours of the campaign then you will be disappointed. What you do get is fun and the action is immersive especially the final boss battle. The characters are pretty great as well. Osiris is well-voiced and the character development is decent as well.

Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris Content

The max level that players can achieve has been increased from 20 to 25. The power level has also been increased from 300 to 330 or 335 with mods. Having that said the progressing is pretty slow. I was 302 power level when I started the DLC and even with the medallion turned on, 4 hours later when I was done with the campaign even though I was at level 25 the power level was only 307.

Heroic strikes have been added to the game and now the recommended power level for the raid is 300. Getting the DLC gets you bragging rights as well as higher level and power level as compared to the people that do not buy the DLC. Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris content might not be much but it is there.

Should You Buy Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris DLC?

While the Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris DLC is not the best and far from perfect there are some cool moments and bosses that are worth paying for. If you play Destiny 2 on and off then this is something worth paying for. If your friends still play the game then you will want to get the DLC.

On the other hand, if you played the campaign and did not touch the game again then this might not be a good investment for you. If you are interested in getting the game then you expansion pass will save you a few dollars and will also get you the upcoming DLC and content. While there are only 2 DLCs that we know about I think that there will also be a third one coming out next year.

You can also learn more about the female hunter guardian that is on the cover of the 2nd Destiny 2 DLC.
