There’s a new and powerful Exotic in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep. It is the Deathbringer Rocket Launcher which is definitely worth getting as soon as you can. Here is how you can get the Deathbringer Rocket Launcher in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep.

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Deathbringer Rocket Launcher

To get your hands on the exotic rocket launcher in Destiny 2, you need to first complete some associated quests and jump through a number of hoops. It is an exotic after all, the game wants you to work for it.

Lunar Spelunker
To start this quest you will have to complete the game’s campaign, after which there will be a number of endgame missions that you’ll gain access to. You can receive bounties from Eris Morn, and you’ll have to complete the bounty called Lunar Spelunker to get the fragment of Eris’ former Fireteam member – the Memory of Sai Mota.

To complete the Lunar Spelunker bounty, you will have to get done with the following:

  • K1 Communion Lost Sector Looted.
  • K1 Crew Quarters Lost Sector Looted.
  • K1 Logistics Lost Sector Looted.

You can find the location of all the Lost Sectors on Moon in Destiny 2 with the help of our Lost Sectors guide.

Once you’ve received the fragment, you will have to cleanse the item for Eris, for which you will have to defeat Nightmares by using Arc abilities. Run the Nightmare Hunts till you’re done with this quest.

To get to Eris, use the portal next to where she usually is and follow this path until you’ve reached her overlook. Once she’s done talking, interact with her and open the chest. This will get you another quest, namely the Symphony of Death.

Once you’ve received the Symphony of Death quest, head underground till you get to the main nexus, the Circle of Bones. Here, you will start your faculties with the Skull quest.

The quest will be very easy so go on with following the objectives till you’re done with the mission. Upon its completion, you will get the Silent Skull and the Tainted Lullaby quest. Take this skull to Eris.

Marrow’s Elegy Quest
After you’re done talking to Eris, you will receive the Marrow’s Elegy Quest, in which you will need to get three bones.

First Bone: Go to the Lost Sector in Sorrow’s Harbor, K1 Revelation. Once here, you will find the Ritualistic Bone after you open the chest at the end.

Second Bone: Complete one event in the area around the Hellmouth to get the Festering Bone.

Third Bone: You will find the Bone Collector inside the Anchor of Light, although there are chances that he may appear somewhere else as well. All you need to do is to be on the look-out for a Hive with a giant yellow health bar.

After you’re done finding the bones, you will have to kill a wizard called the High Conductor Sulmakta. Start The Scarlet Keep strike on the moon, and try playing through the strike till you reach an elevator to the top of the top.

On the second stop of the elevator, you will find the wizard. This will be the floor that will come before the boss.

For the next step of the quest, you will need to collect your enemies’ screams. This means that you will need to kill enemies with red and yellow bars, along with boss enemies. While the yellow bar enemies will be easier to kill, you will take time trying to put down mini-boss and boss enemies.

Consider hanging out on the Moon, attending Public Events or doing Lost Sectors. The best way to proceed with this section of the quest is to start off in Sorrow’s Harbor and keep killing the enemies there. The bosses have a very high spawn rate in that area so you should be done with those in no time.

Once you are done there, just go to do some Lost Sectors, Bounties or Public Events on the Moon.

Circle of Bones
After you’ve gotten your enemies’ scream, you will have to go back to the Circle of Bones. Once you’re here, there will be a new quest for you. Start this Deathsing Choir of the Damned quest with which you will go back into the Catacombs and come across enemies that will sing sixty (60) second arias towards you.

Although one never lets this happen, you may die at the end of the minute. So consider stopping the arias by lowering their shields. You can do this by damaging them.

Once you reach the end, you will have to fight a wizard to complete the skull. Despite its nine hundred and twenty (920) recommended Gear Score, the mission should be easy for you to complete around 900 if you have others in your Fireteam.

After you’re done, head to Eris to get your new Deathbringer Rocket Launcher.
