Destiny 2 Forsaken DLC Returns With Festival of the Lost

Bungie is going to release the regular three-week reset for Destiny 2 Forsaken. The update will be coming with the much-awaited Festival of the Lost. The October Destiny 2 Forsaken update will go live at 6:00 pm BST.

Developers had already revealed the roadmap for the Destiny 2 Forsaken extension. The developers decided to out the roadmap so that players would know what to expect. The highlighting elements in the 12 months of the extension are present in the roadmap.

The most notable upcoming event in the Destiny 2 Forsaken update is going to be the Festival of the Lost. It expected to be unlike any Festival before. But the twist of the Festival is yet unknown.

Furthermore, one Reddit user has suggested some weapons will also be coming back to the game. “AnonTheNine” proposes that the Last Word Exotic hand cannon is set to appear in the update. Along with that, Thunderlord Exotic machine gun will come back in Destiny 2 Forsaken as well.

The same Reddit user has predicted accurate information in past too. He posted the map location of Destiny 2 Forsaken even before E3 2018. It wouldn’t hurt anyone to believe this guy for now.

Moreover, the timing to bring back Last Word in to the game could not be more perfect. The raid’s name being Last Wish and the Guardian having the last word on Uldren Sov is a pretty legit link to the rumor.

The impact and firing rate of Last Word would be a valuable addition to Destiny 2 Forsaken. As for the Thunderlord, it is quite fitting to the game as well. But Bungie the release of Thunderlord might get delayed for now.

As the December updates come, they will be bring the Black Armory and Season of the Forge. The Dawning, new Crucible content and heavy machine guns will come later in the game.
That would presumably be the best time to feature Thunderlord in Destiny 2 Forsaken.

The community manager at Bungie tweeted a Thunderlord look-a-like weapon earlier as well. The things will open up with each update, but the prior challenges are worth completing first. The guide to completing the Ascendant Challenge is one of the easier ones. Meanwhile, Destiny 2 Forsaken has secret missions such as The Shattered Throne Dungeon.
