Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris Infinite Forest

Infinite Forest is located on Mercury and Mercury is totally under Vex’s control now. The planet’s core has been modified by Vex and now serves as a simulation for Vex’s planetary engagements. This simulation is called Infinite Forest.

The simulation is built inside the core of the planet, which has been completely hollowed by Vex. Infinite Forest features many different challenges that also tell us the story of the planet.

Once you enter Infinite Forest, you can experience three distinct phases of the planet via three towers. These phases include part, present, and future. Each Tower has a gateway that will take you to a unique simulation.

The far left tower takes you to the Distant Past simulation. The middle tower will take you to Present Simulation while the far right tower will take you to the Future simulation.

Many simulated Vex, Cabal, and Fallen forces surround each tower. There are also disguised enemies called Daemons in the area, which guard gateways. You will have to defeat them in order to open new doors and gateways.

When you enter a tower, you are taken to the specific time simulation where you will face additional enemy resistance in a constantly changing space. Every time you visit a tower, your experience will be a unique experience as the enemy encounters are different every time.

How to Begin A Heroic Adventure

Once you’re done with the main campaign, head to the Lighthouse and meet up with Brother Vance. He’ll have three normal adventures and three legendary adventures for you to choose from.

Select the heroic adventures and travel to the entrance of the Infinite Forest. Once there, you’ll be directed towards a statue of a stag. You can now start the adventure.

These adventures are relatively hard, so have your team prepare properly before starting it.

The three heroic adventures center around a unique faction each. These are: The Runner – Cabal, The Up and Up – Fallen, and Bug in the System – Hive.

The rewards you’ll get from these heroic adventures are comparable to the Public Events rewards. You’ll mostly be getting resources for crafting, Mercury tokens, Paradox Amplifiers and some new gear.
