Dawn of War 3 – “Connecting to Relic Servers, Please Wait…” Screen
This screen usually appears after launching the client for the first time. You need to let the game verify your beta access so sit back for a while and let it complete. Once done, you should read a message saying, “You are Now Connected to the Relic Link Servers” – hit OK to start the game.
Dawn of War 3 – Kicked from the Multiplayer Lobby
If you get kicked from a Multiplayer Lobby and cannot join another one, try to restart the client and join the group again.
Dawn of War 3 – Facing Network-Related Issues
The first thing that you need to check is that your FireWall or Antivirus Program is not blocking ‘RelicDoW3.exe’. Another thing that you need to see if that IP address ’188.8.131.52’ is whitelisted. Lastly, try to open the TCP ports 443, 27017-27030, and 50000-50010.
Dawn of War 3 – Experiencing a Device Driver Crash
You need to have the latest drivers from AMD, NVIDIA, or Intel to get the best experience. Try to download the latest graphics drivers from your GPU manufacturer and then try running the game. During installation, I recommend a clean install by deleting your old profiles. If you have installed the latest graphics drivers or playing on a laptop, note that the game, sometimes, does not pick the correct GPU. To fix this, use your video card Control Panel and force ‘RelicDoW3.exe’ to use the dedicated GPU.
Dawn of War 3 – Device Driver Crash with Latest Drivers Installed
If you have installed the latest graphics drivers but still experiencing random crashes, you need to make sure that there are no screen/video capture software or other utilities running. XboxDVR on Windows 10 is usually the culprit so make sure to deactivate it.

The first thing that you can try is to change your desktop resolution through Windows to adjust the game resolution. Once done, start the game and go to Options > Graphics > Gameplay Resolution and lower it to 50%. Once done, apply the changes you made and the game should run at 4K with good performance.
