Cyberpunk 2077 Post Launch Content is Planned, Expect the Unexpected

CD Projekt Red co-founder Michał Kiciński and co-CEO Marcin Iwiński have seemingly confirmed Cyberpunk 2077 post launch content.

Cyberpunk 2077 post-launch content has been apparently confirmed by CD Projekt Red co-founder Michał Kiciński and co-CEO Marcin Iwiński. Marcin Iwiński and Michał Kiciński recently sat down to talk about the history of CD Projekt Red during the E3 Coliseum 2019 event.

During the event, Iwiński confirmed that they do have a roadmap for Cyberpunk 2077 but refrained from confirming any Cybperunk 2077 post-launch content including any DLC or expansions.

Of course, we’re a well-organized company and we have roadmaps. We have a solid plan.Sometimes we turn things upside down and throw things away. We really play with it. So expect the unexpected.

Afterward, Iwiński jokingly asked himself, “What is going to be in the fifth expansion?”. Although, the aforementioned comment doesn’t confirm anything but does reveal that Iwiński is interested in future DLCs for the game.

With that said, it’s possible that the Polish studio is already working on Cyberpunk 2077 expansions since there are over 400 developers working on the game.

Given the success of The Witcher 3 and its two-story expansions, it’s safe to assume that we will receive Cyberpunk 2077 expansions too after the release of the game.

Until that happens, players can enjoy the original story of Cyberpunk 2077 and also get to play as Keanu Reeves aka John Wick in the upcoming game. Interested folks can watch Keanu Reeve make an appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 in the trailer below.

Reeves is portraying Johnny Silverhand in the upcoming game and will act as your sidekick throughout the entire game.

The game looks incredible and we are impressed by the character models shown in various trailers of the game. Moreover, CD Projekt Red has now also confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will support Ray-tracing but that resulted in a new controversy.

A new Cyberpunk 2077 screenshot was released this week to confirm the game’s ray tracing support. The image released showed a female figure in a revealing bodysuit with an outline of a penis clearly visible through the clothing.

Many believed that this Cyberpunk 2077 image was made in a way to make fun of transgender people but that’s not the case according to Kasia Redesiuk, the artist who created the image.

Redesiuk says that no offense was meant by the art shown and that the art is a commentary on corporate marketing of the future. In addition to this, Redesiuk wanted to show with the art that over-sexualization of people is bad.

Hopefully, the aforementioned Cyberpunk 2077 controversy doesn’t result in a delay for the game as most people are very unhappy about it.

As for the game, there are no official Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements available yet.

Cyberpunk 2077 release date is set for April 16, 2020, for Sony’s PlayStation 4, Microsoft’s Xbox One and PC. It’s also expected that the game will arrive on next-gen consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett.

We can expect CD Projekt Red to start talking about Cyberpunk 2077 post-launch content including different DLCs after the release of the game in 2020.
