Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Has a Novigrad Feel to It

The Quest Designer, Patrick Mills from CD Projekt RED reveals in an interview that Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 feels like a real city.

The technological advancement in game development has assisted the creators to make the virtual experiences more real in Cyberpunk 2077. Night City is not only going to be bigger than GTA V but will feel as live as a real-life city.

The Cyberpunk 2077 developers have previously been able to apply such technology on The Witcher 3 through increased memory pools and bandwidth. Novigrad from The Wild Hunt was indeed a real city life experience, at least as close to the real life as it could get at the time.

Speaking in a recent interview, Quest Designer Patrick Mills, shared his views regarding the hustle and bustle of Night City.

Let me put it this way: when I drive around in Night City, it feels absolutely like a real city. It doesn’t feel like a city in miniature.

Although there is still a lot of work left to do on the development of Cyberpunk 2077 but this news is a real confidence booster for those skeptical of Night City’s size and experience.

Fans finally got to see a clearer depiction of Cyberpunk when the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay reveal footage rolled out. The massive Night City was showcased with all its glory.

The size of Night City of Cyberpunk 2077 was previously revealed to be bigger than GTA V, and the comparison only seems fair since the game has been related with GTA 5 before in terms of the gaming experience as well.

Moreover, the typical size of the “cities” in most role-playing games don’t really live up to their tag but that’s not the case with Cyberpunk’s Night City. A near to reality city experience of navigating your way through a digital city will be quite a feature for Cyberpunk 2077.

The current gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 has several other features to look forward. The game is certainly on the right track but since there is still plenty of work left to do, players shouldn’t expect this game any time soon.
