CD Projekt Red will be showing off Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2018 in an hour-long presentation. This news is coming from Everyeye.it Editor Chief Francesco Fossetti who revealed on Facebook that he has an hour-long appointment with Spanish developers.
We will have to wait till E3 to find out what’s in the store for us, But it’s confirmed that CD Projekt Red will be revealing RPG for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 which can be none other than Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 is based on the tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020, and takes place, of course, 57 years after the timeframe of that game. A virus has begun afflicting artificial humans in the setting, causing them to go nuts and slaughter people around them.
It was revealed earlier this year that Cyberpunk will be at E3 and will probably release by 2020 on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. CD Projekt RED has also revealed that the title will be a cross-gen effort.
Cyberpunk 2077 will also be one of the first games to arrive on PS5 and next Xbox. An insider has also revealed that the game will be an FPS title with “elements characteristic of role-playing games”. If its true it will be featuring more gunfights rather than RPG elements the company is known for.
We are also hoping to see a trailer for the game on E3 as the company recently posted a job listing, looking for an expert promo creator for Cyberpunk 2077. Which said:
Our Marketing Team creates thrilling, high-quality promo videos that allure the gamers worldwide. We are looking for a Generalist to join the team and to make outstanding visual effects and lighting for the trailers, ads or cutscenes.
We could be closer than ever to a game trailer after all these years.
Cyberpunk 2077 marketing will be also starting this year meaning we will see trailers, news and more leading to the release of the game.
