Cyberpunk 2077 file size is twice as big as The Witcher 3. According to the game’s listing on the PlayStation Store, Cyberpunk 2077 requires 80GB of space to be installed on PS4. Could Keanu Reeves larger than life personality have added to the file size of Cyberpunk 2077? Won’t be surprised if it did.
It is to be kept in mind that file sizes listed on online stores at this stage are tentative. What that means is when Cyberpunk 2077 file size is officially confirmed by CD Projekt RED, it may be lower or even higher than what PS Store has listed.
The file size on Xbox One should be the same with a minor difference. But the PC version could go above 100GB from the looks of it things so far. Cyberpunk 2077 is shipping on two discs on consoles.
Ever since pre-orders went live Cyberpunk 2077 has become the best selling game on Steam and GOG. Of course, this is partly due to Hollywood actor Keanu Reeve appearing in the new Cyberpunk 2077. Keanu is known for his role in the Matrix which propelled his career as an action movie star. His new John Wick series of films have been highly successful and that seems to have sparked CD Projekt RED’s interest in having him in the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been in development for 6-years and Keanu might have come on-board after the first John Wick movie in 2014, one year after Cyberpunk 2077 was announced.
After the long wait, we finally have a release date for the game. At the Electonic Entertainment Expo 2019, Keanu Reeves announced the release date for Cyberpunk, April 16 of next year.
Cyberpunk is releasing next year as confirmed at E3 2019. The game is currently listed on multiple online stores like PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, Steam, and GOG. You can also find copies on Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and other retailers. Cyberpunk 2077 is also listed on Epic Games Store, however, the title cannot be pre-ordered for the time being. It is pretty clear that CD Projekt RED isn’t comfortable with Epic’s 75% off mega sale on all products. Expect the game to be available on Epic Store once the sale ends.
