Custom GTX 1060 GDDR5X Announced By Palit And Gigabyte

The GTX 1060 GDDR5X custom version from Gigabyte and Palit have been revealed. You can check them out here. This si what you need to know.

The GTX 1060 GDDR5X has been confirmed by Nvidia and we are already hearing about the custom models from Palit and Gigabyte. The pricing or the release date is not out now but at least we can confirm that this is a real product and that AIB partners are releasing custom versions as well.

The Palit GTX 1060 comes with dual fans. It’s not something that we have not seen before. You can check out the graphics card below

Next, we have the Gigabyte GTX 1060 GDDR5X that comes with the same specifications as the standard edition but uses better GDDR5X memory. You can check out images of the graphics card below:

Gigabyte has brought back the iconic WindForce cooler yet again. The card comes with triple fans and the Orange and Black color scheme that gamers love. The cooler should be more than enough to keep this graphics card cool under pressure.

The AMD Radeon RX 590 will take on this graphics card. We do not know when it will come out but it seems likely that the card will release on the 15th of November and will cost $300. It will be interesting to see how well both these cards compete against one another.

Nvidia RTX series was announced recently and the cards are selling pretty well. The least expensive option is the RTX 2070 that costs $500. So Nvidia does not have a mid-range mainstream option on the market right now. Nvidia might want to make to do with this refresh.

Let us know what you think about these custom GTX 1060 GDDR5X graphics cards and whether or not you are interested in getting one of these graphics cards.
