CAPCOM Releases Resident Evil 2 Themed Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard

Resident Evil 2 is getting a remake and this is one of the games that we saw at E3 2018 and we all are very excited about it. Here we are looking at a Resident Evil 2 themed Bluetooth mechanical keyboard straight out of the game. If you are a fan of the series and like getting stuff from the game then this is something worth looking into.

The Resident Evil 2 mechanical keyboard can be connected with USB or Bluetooth. The keyboard is called Biohazard RE: 2 x QwerkywriterS Lexington retro typewriter and is dubbed QwerkywriterS in short. This is a collaboration between CAPCOM and QwerkyToys. The mechanical switches come with Cherry MX green switches. While I would prefer them to be Blue Switches, this is what you get out of the box so there is nothing that can be done about the matter.

The keyboard will be available starting January 25, 2019. The dimensions of the keyboard is 394mm, 235mm, 89mm and weighs 1.5 kg. CAPCOM also talked about how this is the first of many remakes. The following is what the company had to say in this regard:

This title is one of our major Consumer releases for this fiscal year, and accordingly, we expect it to be in the “million-seller” class of titles. It was received very well at E3, and in order to tie this first success to actual sales we are working out our promotional strategy. Further, regarding remakes and re-releases of titles in our back catalog, we expect to explore these further with a variety of properties as a part of our strategy to utilize our library of IP.

Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5 are two games that CAPCOM will be bringing to Gamescom 2018 and if you are interested in learning more about the game then you should check it out at the event. It has been confirmed that Devil May Cry 5 demo will be playable at Gamescom 2018, so you can check it out at the event. For more news regarding the matter, stay tuned.
