Call of Duty: WW2 The War Machine DLC Revealed, See What’s Included

The next DLC for Call of Duty: WW2 has just been revealed by Activision and it is coming sooner than we expected. Call of Duty: WW2 The War Machine brings three new maps, a new mode with aerial fighting as well as a new chapter of Nazi Zombies.

The War Machine will launch first on PlayStation 4 on April 10 with its release on PC and Xbox One coming at a later date. You’ll be able to see three new multiplayer maps in the new DLC: one in Egypt, one on the beachfront boardwalk of the French seaside city of Dunkirk and the last on V2 a rocket development and test site in rural Germany.

As for its new mode, Call of Duty: WW2 The War Machine will introduce a new War Mode mission, called Operation Husky, which includes – among others – aerial dogfighting. As its description reveals, “Operation Husky is centered on an Allied action to retrieve intelligence on the locations of sensitive German targets in the ports of Palermo and Naples”. Among Intel gathering, HQ transmitting and classic shooting you’ll be able to take the fight in the sky and clear the area of enemy fighter planes.

Last but not least, it wouldn’t be a Call of Duty: WW2 DLC if it didn’t bring new content to Nazi Zombies. The Shadowed Throne takes you to the center of Nazi Germani to confront Doktor Straub’s hellish army. This time you’ll be joining Marie, Drostan, Olivia, and Jefferson through the new chapter of the popular CoD PvE mode which looks promising just by the sound of its name.

Call of Duty: WW2 The War Machine launches on PlayStation 4 on April 10th with its release on PC and Xbox One coming right after. The second DLC will be also available in the game’s Season Pass which can be purchased for $15. One more thing to be waiting for after Activision announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 coming later this year. The official release of the game will be on Oct.12, 2018.
