Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 Might Get New Content In 2017, Says Studio Head

With the launch of a new entry in Call Of Duty series, Activision somewhat losses interest in the previous game but it seems that that is not going to be the case with Call Of Duty Black Ops 3.

In a recent Facebook live stream, Treyarch studio head Dan Bunting revealed that Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 remains popular and the studio might release new content for the game in 2017.

I cannot say anything specifically at this point in time, but I can say that as Treyarch, we are excited about this game. And as long as they continue playing our game, we’re going to continue to support it in the same way. We can look forward to another healthy and fun year of updates in 2017.

Treyarch’s Jason Blundell further added that fans can expect to see new content for the Zombies mode including a new feature called “Newton’s Cookbook. As for the new content, he said he can’t say anything right now.

Also, Activision has revealed that Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare is the best selling console game for 2016 and Call Of Duty franchise is the number 1 grossing console franchise for the 8th year in a row.

Call of Duty is retail’s #1 grossing console franchise in the U.S. for the 8th consecutive year and the boldly innovative Infinite Warfare is the #1 grossing console game of the year at retail in the U.S.

Eric Hirshberg, Activision’s CEO, further added that Call Of Duty franchise is about engaging the player base and Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 had an amazing engagement throughout the year.

Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 is a first-person action shooter developed by Treyarch for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
