Call of Duty: WW2 is over a couple of weeks away from launch and those of you who are wondering how much space the game will require on your PS4, well the answer is that it will take a lot of space on your PlayStation 4.
According to the product information on the digital download redemption card, the PlayStation 4 version of Call of Duty: WW2 requires a minimum of 80 GB of HDD space which is way high compared to current standards.
However, there is a chance that this HDD requirement might be for the PS4 Pro version of the game with high-resolution textures compared to PS4. For comparison sake, the Xbox One version of Call of Duty: WW2 requires 45 GB of HDD space.
While Call of Duty: WW2 has not even launched yet but, there is already talk of Call of Duty 2018. According to the industry analyst, next year’s Call of Duty will be Call of Duty Black Ops 4. Cowen & Company predicted it as part of the company’s note to investor’s regarding its worries about Activision’s financial performance in 2018.
Also, Activision has assured that the final release of the PC version of Call of Duty: WW2 will have better Anti-Cheat/anti-Hacking Tech.
Activision admitted that the beta was riddled with hackers and cheaters and plans to use anti-cheat/hacking technology for the final release. “We take a level playing field extremely serious and will monitor and react to this as a top priority on an ongoing basis”.
Call of Duty: WW2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Sledgehammer Games and is scheduled to launch on November 3, 2017, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
