There Will Be Multiple Playable Characters In Call of Duty: WW2 Campaign

While this hasn't been done first time in the series but, Call of Duty: WW2 campaign will feature multiple playable characters.

Call of Duty: WW2 is taking that series back to its roots but, will also be introducing new features to the franchise. While this hasn’t been done for the first time in the series but, Call of Duty: WW2 campaign will feature multiple playable characters.

Speaking with GQ Magazine, game director and Sledgehammer Games co-founder Glen Schofield confirmed that Call of Duty: WW2 campaign will feature multiple playable characters including a French resistance fighter, tank commander and more.

You won’t play as a German in the single player, but you do play as other Allies. You play as a female French resistance soldier, as an RAF pilot, and as a tank commander.

Also, creative director Cameron Dayton has revealed that zombies in Call of Duty: WW2 zombies mode are the scariest zombies the players will ever see and will be afraid to even turn off the lights while playing the zombies mode.

Furthermore, Activision has hinted that Call of Duty: WW2 is just the first game in a new series of Call of Duty Titles to feature the World War 2 setting. Activision CEO stated that World War 2 setting is not a one-off and believes that this era is a “very rich territory”.

Well, you know I can’t reveal things on the slate that are several years off. But no I don’t necessarily see it as a one-off; I think that World War II and historical settings more broadly are very rich territory, and I think there’s every possibility that that could become an area that we explore more than once.

Call of Duty: WW2 is a first-person action shooter in development at Sledgehammer Games and is scheduled to launch on November 3, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Also, a PC beta for the game will start on September 29, 2017.
