The latest update for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has gone live on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Sledgehammer Games has confirmed.
The PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC will receive the update, “with similar changes” soon. We expect it to be this weekend.
According to the patch notes, the update brings improvements to security and anti-cheat, that mostly are targeted towards offensive emblems. The Emblem editor has been improved to include colors, layers and more.
The store has been polished on the request of fans. Over a dozen updates are included for the game’s UI, ranging from added support for new weapons to challenges, from fixes to scoreboards to multiplayer menus.
There’s also the new ability to customize Scorestreaks within the Scorestreaks selection menu.
Plenty of in-game issues have been fixed. Notifications for “Reload, Low Ammo and No Ammo” have been added to the HUD, ammo count issues have been fixed, Goliath will no longer get stuck during play, an out-of-world exploit and other similar exploits have been shut down, some mini-map problems have been ironed out and more.
There are also updated to Clans, Challenges, Scorestreaks, Broadcaster and eSports settings, Ranked Play, and more. You can read through the entire changelog here.
It has now been a month since the release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
To celebrate the occasion, Sledgehammer said: “Since day one, we’ve had consistent online uptime stability and global dedicated server coverage, and we’ve rolled out several important updates to make the game even better.”
