Call of Duty 2016 Could be Modern Warfare 4, Here’s Why

There is a rumor going around that Call of Duty 2016 is going to be released with Modern Warfare 1 and Modern Warfare 2 for Xbox One backwards compatible library.

The news comes from a recent report based on “credible sources.”

If this turns out to be true then it could mean that Modern Warfare 4 is currently in development at Infinity Ward. It would make sense for them to release previous Modern Warfare games with Modern Warfare 4, rather than the rumored Ghosts 2.

The source in question claims that Call of Duty 2016 pre order bonus will include the first and second Modern Warfare games.

Right now, there is no way to confirm this news and no point in reaching out to Activision or Infinity Ward as they will not confirm or deny anything at this time.

Call of Duty 2016 will be revealed at E3 and Sony will be doing the honors. As you may know, Activision and Sony are partners in crime now. We don’t know the terms of their deal so we can’t comment on whether or not Sony would mind Activision offering such preorder bonus for Xbox.

There was also a mention of something called Call of Duty Bloodlines recently. Head over to the link to know more about that.

Anyways, we will know more about COD 2016 at E3 this year which will be held in June. Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft and a range of different companies will be there.

EA and Activision aren’t attending the event this year.

Modern Warfare 4 or Call of Duty Ghosts 2? Which game do you want to ses this year?
