Bungie Releases Destiny 2 Update 1.08 To Fix Raid Keys And More

Bungie has release Destiny 2 update 1.08, the most recent update to the game. The update is intended to fix erroneous removal of raid keys along with a number of other fixes both to the main game and the Destiny 2 companion app. The patch is available on both Xbox One and Playstation 4.

To talk about the console version of Destiny 2 update 1.08, Bungie has made it so that hopefully players will avoid the erroneous removal of Raid keys. Keys will no longer be removed once the game hits the weekly reset, or when you make a new character to play, and won’t be removed after you log into an alternate account for the first time in a week. Adjustments like this should allow players to be able to keep up with their Raid keys better.

Two other problems with the game that were fixed in the update were that players will now no longer go back to a kinetic weapon on default after using their Super, and that scout reports on Nessus will now add waypoints to certain chests that they wouldn’t before.

Destiny 2 update 1.08 also added in a number of different adjustments to the Destiny 2 companion app. On the Android version, Milestones will now show up more reliably in the Progress section, and will fix the Gear section having English words show up if you have it on a non-English setting.

On the iOS version, players will be able to look up different clans by name, and will also add in the milestones fix for the Android version of the game. The web version of the companion app has also added in the ability to look up clans by name, though in every version you’ll have to know the exact name of the clan.

Destiny 2 update 1.08 is currently available on the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
