Black Ops 4 Seasonal Events Won’t Be Available on All Platforms Simultaneously

Black Ops 4 seasonal events are going to be exclusive to PS4 before they release on PC and Xbox One. In addition to the game’s DLC, even seasonal events are going to be timed exclusive for 7 days at least to PS4.

The decision may not sit well with the community as it is an odd road to take. Sony and Activision have a partnership for exclusive Call of Duty content, plenty of maps, specialists and more will arrive first on PS4. However, giving early access to seasonal events is a bit much. Xbox and PC users paid the same amount of money for Black Ops 4 so while we understand exclusive DLC partnerships, it doesn’t seem right to go as far as make seasonal events timed exclusive to one platform.

This means all the playable content coming to the Black Ops universe following launch will land seven days early on PS4, including new specialists and maps, as well as seasonal events. After seven days, all new playable content will come to other platforms.

While much of the content is hidden behind a pay-wall, some of it is free yet timed exclusive.
