Black Ops 4 Blackout Mode Had Very Little Impact on PUBG Playerbase

Black Ops 4 Blackout mode has finally released but it’s surprising to know that it had a very little impact over PUBG audience on PC. Despite having one of the best launches ever in the Call Of Duty series, Black Ops 4 has failed to take away the competition from its competitors on PC.

According to GitHyp, PUBG on Steam saw a very little decline in players over the weekend. Only about 4% decrease was seen which represents almost 24,000 players. Surprisingly, this less than what we have seen in the previous weeks.

This tells that not everyone has left PUBG and shifted to Black Ops 4 Blackout mode so it might take some time for the players to finalize what they want to play.

Other than the competition with PUBG, Black Ops 4 has marked Activision’s biggest day one sales Ever. It has overcome Call of Duty WW2 which held the record last year.

The game alone reached a milestone on the PlayStation Store by having the most digital sales on day one. Treyarch has done a great job and the game worked smoothly this year unlike launch problems with WW2 in 2017.

Black ops 4 has also outperformed the global phenomenon “Fortnite” on Twitch by huge numbers. Black Ops 4 is a must try and it’s one of the best Call Of Duty games of all time.

It brings u everything best from the previous Call of Duty games in a single package. You can once again play on your favorite old maps like Raid, Summit and Firing Range.

Now what makes Blackout mode different from PUBG is the inclusion of the vast selection of weapons and the massive map. Blackout mode consists of all the favorite locations along with your favorite characters from previous COD games.

In Blackout mode, you can use vehicles, boats and even helicopters unliked PUBG.

Treyarch is continuously improving the game so we might see more players coming to Black Ops 4 after leaving PUBG and Fortnite. Fortnite Pro “Ninja” is also expected to make a permanent move to Black Ops 4.

It’s been less than a week so it’ll be interesting to see these numbers in the future as both developers improve their game.
