Bioware Austin Working on an Unannounced Title – Could be an MMORPG

Bioware Austin is hiring, could they be working no something that is not SWTOR? Check out the job descriptions.

Right now, the developing house behind Star Wars: The Old Republic, Bioware Austin is hiring for a couple of posts. The job listings don’t really give away much about a specific project but there still are hints as to what kind of a game we could expect from them in the future.

First off, they are also working on unannounced projects that are non-SWTOR. Here’s what the EA Careers page says about Bioware Austin while offering a job post for a Senior C# Engineer at the studio:

“After the hugely successful addition of its Free 2 Play option and the highly praised launch of space PVP with the Galactic Starfighter expansion, the Austin team continues driving forward with SW:TOR and is also hard at work on several unannounced projects. Apply today and learn about the exciting opportunities at our Studio. It’s an amazing time to come and work with us!”

On a different page, they are hiring temporary game testers. It doesn’t give away much but it does narrow the possibilities of the project on hand in the description:

“Our ideal candidates have played both online games such as MMORPGs (Star Wars the Old Republic, DC Universe Online) and action games (Grand Theft Auto V, Tomb Raider, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes).”

So what could it be; Jade Empire 2, Jade Empire MMO? Or maybe a Jedi Knight revival in the shape of Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy 2? Well, on a less interesting note, it could also be something related to SWTOR.

Your guess will be as good as mine, so go ahead and tell us what you think in the comments section.
