Beat Saber Sales Reach Over One Million Copies, First Music Pack Now Live

Beat Saber the virtual reality rhythm game has managed to sell over one million copies on PlayStation 4 VR and PC VR, says Beat Games CEO.

Beat Saber, the virtual reality rhythm game has managed to sell over one million copies across PS VR and PC VR platforms. The game surpassed this huge milestone last month according to Beat Games co-founder and CEO Jaroslav Beck.

It’s a big accomplishment since no other VR game that we know of has managed to achieve this much success. Moreover, this all was achieved without any use of PR or marketing from the creators.

Beat Games CEO Jaroslav Beck revealed this news in a recent interview with Variety while also talking about how they never expected this to happen. “We did zero PR whatsoever. We didn’t expect that it would blow up that crazy” says Beck.

He then went on to call the game “super intuitive” which makes it easier to try even for those who don’t play any games. He also praised his teams’ exceptional work on the game and says that he never ran into any technical issue of the game which is one of the reasons why it is so successful. “The code is super polished,” CEO said.

As you know the game focuses on electronic music but that’s going to change as the team is always experimenting and is looking forward to bring other music genres to the game as well.

There are a lot of new music packs to come starting with recently released Beat Saber Monstercat DLC music Pack Volume 1 which is now available on PC and PS4 with update version 1.09.

If you are into VR games then look no further as Beat Saber offers the best virtual reality experience and it’s available via Steam on PC. Personally, I think that It’s even worth getting a Virtual Reality headset for.
