Nintendo gave a huge surprise at The Game Awards 2017 by announcing Bayonetta 3. The news came at a great time as it helped Nintendo Switch library grew stronger. Meanwhile, E3’s Metroid Prime 4 is also under development. Both Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4 release date isn’t announced for the time being.
However, both games may release soon to Nintendo Switch. According to a new rumor, players will get to experience the new Bayonetta and Metroid Prime in 2018.
The news comes from Nintendo Norway so it is credible enough. No major updates are yet seen since their initial trailers were shared and we can’t expect to hear much until the marketing phase kicks in.
Of course, it could be a mistake on Nintendo Norway’s part so take it with a grain of salt. But Nintendo’s leak followed a Reddit post that claimed the same thing, citing internal sources.
I cannot personally reveal my source, but I have it on good authority from a reliable source that Bayonetta 3 will be released this year, maybe this summer. It will not be released later than 2018 barring a disaster.
Nintendo had a fantastic year in 2017 with games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, and many more.
Nintendo Switch is one of the topmost selling gaming consoles right now and with third-party support from different developers, this year is hopefully going to be a good year for the gamers as well as the company.
