Battlerite Thorn Guide – How to Play!

Battlerite Thorn Abilities and Battlerites

Use Regrowth for your left mouse button as it will allow you to stack damage reduction on your left click attacks. This makes Thorn a very terrifying tank and a force to be reckoned with. After this, use Whiplash on your Q as it will allow you to apply thorns which will heal you and you will deal extra damage. Try to chain this attack with CC if you are unable to land it on your own.

For the Space key, we will use Fearsome Uprootal and Impaling Roots. They will allow you to have more damage and sustain at the same time so you can last longer in those fights and have more impact. These two also synergize with No Escape, which is what we use for our Ultimate. This will make Thorn deal more damage, more CC and more Sustain. Quite the whole package, am I right?

Thorn’s EX abilities are not that great apart from the shield so it is best if you avoid using them. Try to focus more on saving your energy for your Ultimate as that is a great ability, especially with the build that you will be using as it will probably give you an advantage that your opponents cannot come back from.

Battlerite Thorn Strats

Since you are a tank, you should constantly try to be in the face of the enemy, soaking up damage for your team and disrupting whatever it is that they are trying to do. You have a lot of Crowd Control so try to setup your enemies for your teammates and apply pressure on your opponents. Use your CC to single out enemies and have your team shred them before moving on to the next target.

You do not have a lot of sustain so try to peel for your team. You can also grab the mid orb using your Q to get that orb easily and get the massive advantage that it grants you. You can also use E before you use Q when targeting enemies to ensure your ability lands.

Try to soak damage and stay close to your enemies as you need to stack up for the damage reduction. You have a really good shield so enemies will probably try to stay away from you which is why you need to stay with them. You also have some small healing abilities which can be of some help to your team.

Your ULT blocks projectiles, deals 16 damage initially and per second if enemy stay in it. This can be used to 100 to 0 enemies very quickly. It can also be used to divide the map, for example to get the Mid Orb for your team.

You can easily control the map with these abilities and make sure your enemies are constantly under pressure from your massive health and all of your Crowd Control.
