Battlefield 1 Assault Class Guide

In our Battlefield 1 Assault Class Guide, we break down everything you need to know about Assault Class in Battlefield 1.

Weapons and Gadgets

When it comes to Weapons and Gadgets, Battlefield 1 Assault Class is a like a mix of Engineer Class and Assault Class from BF4.  The assault class is for anyone looking to shed some blood on the Battlefield. The assault class can help push the enemy objective using a range of different and powerful weapons and explosives.

Pretty much all weapons of this class are for close range combat to avoid engaging the enemy at long range.

Assault Class Tips and Strategies

The first thing that comes to mind when we talk about Assault Class is running and gunning. And while it holds true to some extent, you need to be smart with your approach. First of all, do note that all Assault Class weapons are fairly close-range and do not work well at long-range due to recoil, poor range, and accuracy.

Due to this fact, you need to make sure that you move from cover to cover and engage only when you are in close-range. When it comes to cover, try and avoid open space, move only using vehicles, and keep your back covered – at all times. If you are playing with a full squad, try to make sure that your Medic is there to watch your back.

Vehicles in Battlefield 1 can be really frustrating which is why you need to make sure that you are dealing with these as early as possible. The most useful gadget for this purpose is Anti-Tank Grenade which is equipped by default. However, do not attempt to do so while playing solo. You basically need to team up with other Assault Class players for this.
