ASUS Announces New ROG SLI HB Bridge

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced a new ROG SLI HB Bridge for video cards SLI capability. The new SLI HB Bridge model comes with few enhancements than its previous SLI HB Bridge. Even, the backlit logo of new model is updated and is touch sensitive.

The new SLI HB Bridge model comes with dual-link support for high-bandwidth data transfer between the two boards.  This is one of the new support features included specifically in new SLI HB Bridge.

The new version now allows double the bandwidth. Moreover, the new SLI HB Bridge is for the users who want to maximize the performance of their boards, while, taking into consideration of having synchronized RBB lighting. According to GeForce Experience Software, it has 12 different lighting effects for the users to choose. Check out the image below to see the physical difference between the new and old model.


The New ROG SLI HB Bridge is brand new, finished in brushed metal and matte black. The supported video cards are listed below:

Furthermore, the new ROG SLI HB Bridge supports the link of video cards with Aura Sync compatibility of motherboards. They can be connected to the SLI HB Bridge using the 4-pin cable optimized for ASUS Aura synchronizations. The ASUS product line featuring Aura Sync includes motherboards, video cards, keyboards and mice. All of them can have synchronized light and color effects on the same system.

The new ROG SLI HB Bridge is an enhancement over previous models. It will be an eye candy hardware for PC hardware enthusiasts who like to link cards via SLI and beef up their GPU prowess.
