Assassin’s Creed Unity – How to Unlock Thomas de Carneillon’s Outfit

Assassin’s Creed: Unity pays homage to the most renowned assassins in the history of the franchise; the likes of which are Altaïr ibn La’Ahad and Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

Arno can unlock outfits wore by these Master Assassins and equip them during the game. For more help on Assassin’s Creed Unity, read our Murder Mystery Clues Locations, Outfits Unlock and Nostradamus Enigma Guide.

How to Unlock Thomas de Carneillon’s Outfit

While most of these outfits require using Companion App or setting up your Uplay account to Assassin’s Creed Initiates Program, Medieval Assassin Thomas de Carneillon’s outfit requires a lot more grinding. But believe me when I say this, it’s totally worth the effort.

This guide is designed to guide you on unlocking Medieval Assassin Thomas de Carneillon’s outfit in Assassin’s Creed: Unity.

How to Unlock Medieval Assassin Thomas de Carneillon’s Outfit

During your journey through Paris, you’ll come across scroll-like symbols on your world-map. These symbols represent Nostradamus Enigma. Every Nostradamus Enigma requires you to find symbols hidden in the environment (on ground, statues, walls, etc.) using your Eagle Vision – just like Glyphs in Assassin’s Creed II.

Each symbol requires you to solve a riddle which, once decrypted, takes you to another symbol until you decrypt the final riddle. Remember that all symbols are usually found in the same neighborhood or in a close vicinity.

After decrypting riddles and locating symbols, Arno will be provided with a Fragment. These Fragments can be used in a secret room located in the basement of Cafe Theatre. Once all symbols have been found and all Fragments have been collected, you’ll unlock Thomas de Carneillon’s Outfit in the Legacy Room.

However, this is not as simple as it sounds like! By reaching a specific Fragment count, Arno will get access to three new rooms where you need to solve three different puzzles. Since the outfit is located inside a three-layered cage, solving each puzzle removes a layer from the cage around the outfit. Once all puzzles are completed, you’ll acquire your desired outfit.

  • Acquire 4 Fragments = First room unlocks
  • Acquire 10 Fragments = Second room unlocks
  • Acquire 18 Fragments = Third room unlocks

We’ve already compiled a video guide on Assassin’s Creed: Unity Nostradamus Enigma Guide Location. Make sure to check it out to earn all 18 Fragments to complete puzzles found in the Cafe Theatre.
