Assassin’s Creed Origins Multiple Characters Are Limited to Specific Quests, No Multiplayer

Assassin’s Creed Origins multiple characters are limited to specific quests. According to Ubisoft, players will be able to play as characters other than Bayek, however, the feature is limited to a handful of side-quests. When asked about female characters in the game, game director Ashraf Ismail, stated that there are multiple characters for certain quests which indicate that there is indeed a female playable character.

Speaking about the present-day Abstergo, Ismail said that they are not ready to talk about it for the time being and players should wait for more information. However, he did confirm that there is no dedicated online multiplayer mode for Assassin’s Creed Origins.

According to Ismail, they are using online features to enhance the single player experience of the player but there is no dedicated multiplayer added to the game. The last time we saw a dedicated mode was back in 2014 when Assassin’s Creed Unity released on consoles and PC.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will be optimized for Xbox One X as well and is going to be a launch title for the console. Origins is now available for pre-order and there are four different variants of the game up for sale. We have the standard edition, deluxe edition, gold edition, and an $800 edition.

Moreover, Assassin’s Creed Origins will support Xbox One X.

Supporting Xbox One X means that Assassin’s Creed Origins will run at native 4K. Moreover, the title is going to support HDR on top of native 4K.

Do you think Assassin’s Creed Origins multiple characters and present-day Abstergo are necessary? Is multiplayer something you enjoyed and would like to see again?
