Assassins Creed Origins Benchmarks: AMD Vega 56 Beats The GTX 1070 At Higher Resolutions

The AMD RX Vega GPUS beat the Nvidia GTX 1070 in Assassins Creed Origins benchmarks. Here is what you need to know about it.

Assassins Creed Origins is out now and the game is getting a lot of attention and pretty good reviews. Ubisoft did skip a year in order to do something different with the Assassins Creed franchise and that is one of the reasons why the game is so well received. Here we have some Assassins Creed Origins Benchmarks for you to check out.

The game is based in ancient Egypt, a time well before Ezio and even Altair. This is a very different from what we are used to playing. People that want to get into the game must be wondering how graphically intensive the game is and that is where these Assassins Creed Origins benchmarks come in.

These Assassins Creed Origins benchmarks will give you an idea of how well the game is going to run on your hardware. You can check out the benchmarks at different resolutions below:

At the top of the chart, we have the GTX 1080 Ti which is no surprise. At second place we have the GTX 1080 followed by the GTX 1070. All cards perform well over 60 FPS. The AMD Vega GPUs also perform well but only make it above 60 FPS by a small margin.

Moving on to 1440p we see a change in the charts where the AMD Vega GPUs take over the GTX 1070. While the GTX 1080 Ti and GTX 1080 stay on top, the AMD Vega 64 and 56 take 3rd and 4rth position.

At 1440p only the GTX 1080 Ti is able to run the game at 60 FPS but that does not mean that you will not be able to play the game at the higher resolution. This is the worst case scenario and turning down the settings will get you a bump in FPS.

Moving on to 4K Assassins Creed Origins benchmarks, we see that no card is able to deliver 4K 60 FPS on its own and you might have better luck with an SLI configuration. The GTX 1070 might be taken over by the AMD Vega GPUs at the higher resolution but it will be interesting to see what kind of performance the GTX 1070 Ti will have to offer.
