A new legendary creature called “Arges the Bright One” has now arrived in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for those who wanted a challenging boss fight in the game. Arges the Bright One arrived as a part of the recent free game update.
To challenge Arges the Cyclops, you will have to visit Volcanic Island to the east in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The next time you start the game, you will receive a new bounty quest to take on Arges the Cyclops. Just take the quest to hunt him down and if you manage to beat the beast, you will receive one of the new legendary weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey called the Hammer of Hephaistos. You will also earn an achievement and a trophy if you defeat him.
This sounds all easy to do but it’s not as players are reporting that he’s very hard to take down making him one of the toughest boss fights in the game. Ubisoft recommends you to be at level 50 least to challenge the angry Cyclops. Players have also confirmed that he’s way harder to handle as compared to previous boss fights in the game.
However, if you still want to take on him then we advise you go fully prepared by having the max level along with a legendary weapon.
With these new boss fights and changes, Ubisoft is trying to make AC Odyssey the best-supported game in the Assassin’s Creed series but still, the fans have mixed response to it. Many players of the game were pissed at the ending of AC Odyssey DLC Legacy of the First Blade, Shadow Heritage, which released recently. To calm the fans, Ubisoft issued an apology but players are still unhappy so we have yet to see if it will change with upcoming new DLC content in 2019.
If you haven’t played Assassin’s Creed Odyssey from some time then you should definitely head back today as there’s a lot of new quests available including Lost Tales of Greece DLC which is absolutely free for everyone. You can now experience “Daughters of Lalaia” story with the latest DLC. Another free quest called “Poet’s Legacy” is now also available which involves you meeting the most scandalous poet of Greece.
AC Odyssey aside, we have some great news for the fans of Assassin’s Creed series as it’s rumored that Assassin’s Creed 3 remaster is on its way and it’s coming sometime in March 2019.
