Destiny 2 Endless Vale

Destiny 2 Endless Vale Crucible Map Guide to help you learn everything you need to know about the map, how to play on it, jumps & spots, and other details. Endless Vale in Destiny 2 is situated on Nessus, one of the new explorable worlds in the game. The Vex have transformed Nessus into a machine world – something that is fairly obvious.

From the looks of it, the Endless Vale is tailored for the Crucible Mode in Destiny 2. Before we start, do note that the information in the article is subject to change after the official release of Destiny 2. However, for the duration of the game’s beta, the information should suffice.

In our Destiny 2 Endless Vale Crucible Map Guide, we’ve detailed everything you need to know about playing on the Endless Vale, jumps & spots, & other important details.

Destiny 2 Endless Vale Crucible Map Tips & Strategies

One of the most important things to note about the Crucible map is that it’s fairly symmetrical due to which it doesn’t favor defenders on any side. There are four entrances to the center & you need to have someone at the Temple/Shrine in order to defend it. As for the Temple/Shrine, they’ve three entrances & can easily be defended with someone on the mid. Both the spawns on Endless Vale have three routes heading out & each one of them has fairly decent cover that you can use to your advantage.

Speaking of cover available on the map, Temple has next to no cover but the columns on each side can serve you a little. When it comes to Shrine, the cover there is not great either but try to take advantage of a few boxes lying here & there. Although mid provides a little low central cover, I wouldn’t rely on it too much. Finally, as mentioned earlier, the spawn areas on Destiny 2 Endless Vale have the best cover.

It’s also important to note that the Shrine provides a slight vantage point that you can use to pick off attackers pouring in. You should also be aware of three Power Ammo boxes located in Temple & near both spawn points. Overall, the map offers tight quarters that are ideal for close-ranged combat. The shrine is usually a hotzone, which is something you need to keep in mind. Try to use grenades as much as possible!
