Apple AR Products Coming In The Near Future? Apple Might Have Found Suppliers At CES 2018

At CES 2018 companies from all over the world came together and since VR has just got a lifeline, companies are now looking to get into AR as well. Apple has already shown an interest in AR and we could see Apple AR products coming out in the near future. While there are third-party headsets that work with the iPhone, it makes sense that Apple would introduce AR products of their own to support the platform.

VR did not have the impact that we expected it to have but then again these were the initial first generation of products. The second generation of products is coming out which are cheaper an lighter and should offer much more as compared to the previous generation products. These new products might not be as powerful but they are a step in the right direction.

Hugo Barra, who runs virtual reality products for Facebook talked about all this and the following is what he had to say”

“VR is just in its infancy. We’re just seeing the market beginning to take off.”

At CES 2018 plenty of companies met with one another and word has it that Apple AR products will be coming out soon and that the company is looking for suppliers in order to get these Apple AR products into the market. Apple, Facebook, Google, Snap and Xiaomi met with relevant suppliers in order to start work on their AR products.

According to Ari Grobman from Lumus:

“Almost everyone is preparing an AR product, some will lead; others will be in a position to follow right away.”

While Apple does wait a bit for the technology to mature before it decides to implement it into their tech, I think it is safe to say that Apple is one of the market leaders when it comes to technology and keeping that in mind we will be seeing Apple AR products in the near future.
