AMD Navi Radeon GPU Benchmarks Leaked, How Well It Performs?

This time around, alleged benchmarks have leaked for the upcoming AMD Navi Radeon GPU and the resutls are rather intersting.

It’s been over a year since we have been hearing about AMD Navi GPUs and we are still just hearing leaks and rumors regarding the Navi architecture. This time around, alleged benchmarks have leaked for the upcoming AMD Navi Radeon GPU.

These AMD Navi Radeon GPU benchmarks were leaked through a CompuBench listing. The listing refers to the device as “66AF: F1” and reportedly it’s a next-gen GPU based on AMD Navi architecture, so take it with a grain of salt.

As for the benchmarks, this alleged AMD Navi Radeon GPU beat the Radeon RX 580 in gaming performance and is almost on par with Radeon RX Vega 56.

However, things take a bit of a turn in compute performance. While the GPU performs relatively similar to Radeon RX 580 but, compared to RX Vega 64, the AMD Navi GPU is not up to the task.

While AMD Navi does come close in some benchmarks but for the most part, it lags behind in compute performance. However, this is all relative and a leak at best so I will reserve my judgment until AMD officially reveals the GPU.

While reportedly this AMD Navi GPU is a discrete one but apparently, integrated Navi GPUs are also a thing.

Just recently, references to AMD Navi GPUs were found in Mac OS. The file has listed Navi 16, 12, 10 and 9 which seems to be variants. This indicates that AMD is preparing for the release of its Navi GPUs for desktop and mobile platforms.

Aside from GPUs, AMD is also in the business of designing CPUs and is giving Intel a run for its money with its Ryzen products. PC enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for 7nm AMD Ryzen 3000 CPUs.

While we are still waiting, Ryzen 3000 CPU prices have leaked online. These prices come from a Singapore retailer Bizgram.

  • Ryzen 3 3300 – $111
  • Ryzen 3 3300X – $145
  • Ryzen 3 3300G – $145
