While Intel is having issues with the 10nm process. We are not going to see any new 10nm chips before 2020. AMD on the to other hand has already released 12nm based chips and now the 7nm chips are going to be released soon.

During her CES keynote, Dr. Su and guests will provide a view into the diverse applications for new computing technologies ranging from solving some of the world’s toughest challenges to the future of gaming, entertainment and virtual reality with the potential to redefine modern life.

While there is little that we know about these upcoming products we did get a few benchmarks that show that the upcoming 7nm AMD Vega cards perform up to 65% better than the RX Vega 64. That is an exceptional leap in performance and if that is indeed the case then you can only imagine what AMD Navi would be capable of.

The upcoming couple of years are going to be great for AMD. Not only is AMD CEO Lisa Su going to talk about the upcoming chips, but she has also confirmed in a previous interview that AMD is powering both the PS5 and Xbox Scarlet. That will be great for business and will help AMD to gain firm ground in the market.
