Ahead of its release at the end of the month, the Amazing Spider-Man 2 has popped up on the PlayStation Store for pre-order with a great costume as a bonus. Upon pre-ordering the game from the PS Store, you will receive a new costume for Spider-Man called Electo-Proof Suit when the game is released.
The game will have a very little connection to the upcoming Spider-Man movie because the developer wants to create their own unique experience with the game. It will have its own story and villains as Spider-Man tries to save the city of New York from a much bigger threat.
The developer details the new features of the games as:
- Play as Peter Parker for the first time ever in The Amazing Spider-Man game series.
- Battle all-new villains from both the movie and Spider-Man universes.
- New web-swing mechanic includes expanded web-shooter capabilities and chemical properties that allow you to freeze and blow up items on impact.
- Explore a more expansive Manhattan cityscape than the previous Amazing Spider-Man.
- New “Hero or Menace” system rewards you for acting as Spider-Man by stopping crime and saving citizens.
- New abilities and expanded fast-paced, acrobatic combat moves bring players up close and personal.
The PS3 version of the game is available at the price of $49.99 while PS4 version will cost you $59.99. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to release for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, 3DS, PS4, PS3, Wii U, Android, iOS and PC on 29th of April in North America.
