A Plague Tale: Innocence Chapter 10 Walkthrough
Amicia got through the rats as well as the interrogation because of which she successfully entered the university. She recalls that Lucas informed her to follow the roses to reach Sanguinis Itinera.
First of all, to get to the room, you’ll have to run straight, kill the guard to get through and move the box to the right specified by the arrow below to scramble up a bookcase and move forward.
Moreover, in the next room, a few guards and monks are protecting the lower floor so the best tactic would be stealth.
Go down and hide at the back of the first bookcase. You’ll have to be careful about the monks, move forwards when they’re not looking.
Go at the back of the next bookcase when the monk turns to your bookcase. You’ll have to move to another bookcase. Repeat this tactic!
By using this tactic, you’ll get the chance to enter the room. In the other room, you’ll have to wait until two guards turn around so you can move stealthily. You’re right to allow the rats to leave.
Throw the Odoris on both of the guards so the rats kill them. If not, repeat the process!
You’ll have to duck under the bookcase to move to the next room. You don’t have to go straight or else you’ll be detected. Therefore, move to your right quickly and duck behind the table.
Furthermore, when the guards face towards the rubble go to the table right and move behind the wooden boxes.
Try to distract the guards and proceed forward undetected. You’ll have to grab the light and point it towards the right so the rats could leave their nest. Go towards the window and put the Odoris near the guard so the rats attack him.
To proceed, unlock the door that was blocked by the rats. Once done, climb up the stairs and unlock the door where you’ll make friends with Grand Inquisitor Vitalis Benevent.
Go After the Prisoner
Climb down the stairs and creep past toward the monk and hide at the back of the bookcase. Go after the armored guard but avoid being spotted.
A fire will erupt which will distract the guards. You’ll have to kill the guards by striking with rocks on their unprotected heads. While you’re killing the guards, Rodric will rescue the prisoner.
Run into the underground cell with Rodric to escape the guards. After which Rodric would lock the door behind, saving you both. Follow Rodric to reach the new library.
Retrieve the Book
Sanguinis Itinera will be here. Rodric will assist you in finding the next room. After you’ve collected the book, you’ll have to escape Vitalis. Proceed to the path with Rodric and take down guards using rocks.
After entering the room, climb the stairs and equip your weapons and use them (L1 + R2). Get to the place where you came from then attack the two guards. Keep following Rodric until you’re out of this place.
