Halo Infinite was announced at E3 2018 and since then 343 Industries has remained silent about it. But finally, we have some great Halo Infinite news as the developer has now discussed the E3 trailer and the new design of Master Chief.
Dan Chosich, Halo Infinite’s narrative experience director recently was present in the special 343 Social Stream. During that Halo Infinite stream, Dan Chosich discussed the E3 trailer, behind the scenes and how it all happened. One of the most interesting discussions was about the new design of Master Chief.
About at 53 minutes in the video, Chosich and Brian Jarrard discuss the version of Master Chief 343 created for Halo Infinite is his coolest look ever, a bold claim considering the fact that Bungie’s designs were amazing.
It is by far the coolest Master Chief we have ever done, or that anybody’s ever really done
343 Industries said that the new Master Chief design is inspired by his previous look in games like Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo 5. But obviously, he will look better and different in Halo Infinite.
Master Chief look that you saw in the trailer might seem similar to the previous games but that’s not the case as Chosich says that the final character model has yet to be revealed. So hold on and wait.
You can also check out his new helmet through the live stream as it provides you with some close-ups and overall look.
In other Halo Infinite news, this stream also provides us with behind the scenes look of the E3 Trailer. The stream showed us how it all happened. It shows us the early concepts to its final version on the big screen. It provides us with a detailed comparison between early and final results.
Chosich showed 114 slides about every different part of the trailer. One thing missing from the stream is the gameplay but something tells me E3 2019 would reveal more about Halo Infinite gameplay.
Jarrad acknowledges that the players want to see the gameplay but for that, we will have to wait.
Jarrard discussed the plans to have Halo Infinite early flight tests. These early flight tests allow the people to try out the game and will also help 343 Industries to make changes according to the feedback before they release the final version.
There’s no news about the release date yet but we are all expecting Halo Infinite to be released sometime in 2019. Speaking of expectations, Xbox Scarlett is expected to be shown at E3 2019 as well.
