Zombie Army 4: Dead War is out and here to enrich your zombie killing needs. The game is absolutely gorgeous and gory, however with great visuals comes tremendous stress on your PC. To ensure a smooth experience, we prepared this Zombie Army 4 Best Settings Guide.

Zombie Army 4 Best Settings

Here is what your PC needs in order to face off the undead army in Zombie Army 4 Dead War.

Minimum Specifications
Your PC should at least be as strong as this in order to run the game with acceptable performance. Trust me, you don’t want your game to stutter lest the zombies eat you whole.

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit / Windows 8 64-bit / Windows 7 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-6100
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • GPU: Nvidia GT 1030 2GB
  • Storage: 50 GB

If you are running the game with the bare minimum, then you might want to go ahead in the settings and turn off V-Sync. Turn off all unnecessary things like Anti-Aliasing and HDR.

Put everything down to low, disable ASync Compute and FidelityFX Sharpening.

Turn OFF Motion Blur, Obscurance Fields, and Tessellation, these settings are going to have a heavy impact on your performance, and disabling them is definitely going to give your rig some breathing space.

Bring down the Shadow, Texture, Reflection Detail, and Draw Distance down to the lowest setting you can.

Tweaks
Go into your options and feel free to change the select few settings below.

  • If you feel your connection to the game is throwing you off, you can change your region by going under the ‘Game’ tab and clicking ‘Select Multiplayer Matchmaking Region’, here you may select the region that suits you best.
  • Feel like the game isn’t giving you enough immersion with the constant tutorial pop-ups everywhere? Go into the ‘Game’ tab and turn Tutorials off if you want. However, we do recommend playing the game for a bit with these things on as it will help you to get familiar with the game.
  • Go into ‘Controls’ and into ‘Aim Assist’, you can turn on Aim Assist for Keyboard and Mouse in order to improve your weapons gameplay. Leave it off if you’re just that hardcore.
  • I, personally, found the sensitivity a bit off, so if that’s the case with you, go ahead and adjust the sensitivity in the ‘Control Sensitivity Settings.’
  • At the bottom of the ‘Controls’ tab in options, you can edit the Controller Type you’re using, simply change it to Auto-Select if you want.

Controls
The default controls are okay, and do not need that much in terms of tweaking. But there are certain things that can definitely be changed.

  • C for Crouch
  • H for MedKit
  • T for Chat
  • Y for Quick-Chat
  • G for Grenade Throw
  • F for Stomp
  • Shift for Weapon Assist
