Sony’s February Event Date Hinted by Thrustmaster?

Is Sony Interactive Entertainment going to reveal PlayStation 5 during an exclusive Sony event in February? The possibility of this event happening is increasing day by day with more and more hints starting to surface. Following a massive 4chan leak which gave out all the essential details of the event, we have more potential leaks coming in.

Thrustmaster now has potentially leaked Sony’s upcoming event as they teased a shiny pedal onto their Facebook account. The teased pedal is built for simulating racing games on PCs and consoles. The picture of the race-pedal is just posted some hours ago, and mentions ’13 Feb’ in its description. This might be an indication that the new product will be revealed at Sony’s February event.

In another rumor by a 4chan user, it was claimed that the upcoming Gran Turismo 7 will be launched with the PlayStation 5. Another rumor quickly surfaced that the game is to be revealed at Sony’s February event such that it would release with the PlayStation 5. A Japanese insider claimed the following about playing Gran Turismo Sport on PS5:

Playing the racing game Gran Turismo Sport with a PS5 controller is a completely different experience… While it runs well with the previous controller, there is no going back after you experience the detailed road surface via haptic control and play using the adaptive triggers.

As a simulation technology American-based Company, Thrustmaster designs, develops and manufactures joysticks, game controllers and steering wheels for gaming platforms. Thrustmaster is set to launch the shown pedalboard. The brand is also licensed with PlayStation and Xbox products.

While an Official Sony event next month is still a rumor, one this is for sure that Polyphony Digital is definitely working on next Gran Turismo game for PlayStation 5. Gran Turismo is taking place. Fingers are crossed upon the upcoming Sony’s February event as it will clear several things to us. Don’t forget to take these rumors with bits of salt.
