Ark Survival Evolved Version 542.33 Is Live, Server Update

Ark Survival Evolved has received Version 542.33. Take note that this is only a server update, you don’t have to manually download this version. You will find that Ark Survival Evolved Version 542.33 is quite a small server update. Something that stands out is that they applied a one time disabling of replication (invisible) on all sleeping (logged off) players on all official PvE servers.

This is a survival and open world game. Throughout the adventure you must hunt to survive, create various objects, improve your technology, build shelters, and much more. All this while exploring a gigantic island full of dinosaurs, which is emerging as one of its greatest attractions. Below you will find the complete list of Ark Survival Evolved Version 542.33 patch notes.

  • PS4 Server Version: 542.33
  • Xbox One Server Version: 793.35
  • PC Server Version: 304.42

Applied a one time disabling of replication (invisible) on all sleeping (logged off) players on all Official PvE servers. After logging back onto servers, the players will again replicate (visible) and will continue to remain so for subsequent sleeps. Following this update, if players have been offline for a continuous 2 week time period, their sleeping bodies will no longer replicate. This change will improve both client and server performance by reducing the amount of sleeping bodies that will need to be replicated.

In other news, Studio Wildcard recently announced two expansion packs for Ark Survival Evolved. The first one is already available, and the other will release this year, 2020. In addition to a new map, new story and creatures (including a giant tortoise on which you can build), Ark: Genesis will add AI with a voice that will accompany you, give missions and objectives, adding more weight to the story.

I remind you that Studio Wildcard and Instinct Games’ Ark Survival Evolved released in August 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, OS X and Linux, with versions for Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch in 2018.
