CSGO 01/06/2020 Update Is Out, Improvements And Bug Fixes

CSGO has received 01/06/2020 Update. You can now download this update on PC (Steam). You will find that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive 01/06/2020 Update is quite a small update, as it only has a few improvements and bug fixes. Something that stands out is that they updated Balkan, FBI, and ST6 sleeve textures to closer match 3rd person models.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive (or simply CSGO) is a first-person shooter action video game. Fourth installment of the Valve saga, CSGO repeats the usual approach: two teams, terrorists and anti-terrorists, fighting each other to meet objectives such as planting / deactivating a bomb. It is the most popular multiplayer FPS among eSports and has dedicated servers as well as custom games where you can enjoy many game modes. Below you will find the complete list of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive 01/06/2020 Update patch notes.

AGENTS

  • Updated Balkan, FBI, and ST6 sleeve textures to closer match 3rd person model in CSGO.

DANGER ZONE

  • Added a death notice icon for stomp damage in CSGO.

MISC

  • Fixed a rare server crash during Guardian wave restarts in CSGO.
  • Disabled holiday mode
  • Fixed startmovie sound not being synchronized with the images.
  • Added support for recording sound with surround sound devices, channels are recorded as mixed originally by the game.

In other news, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players have interpreted all kinds of generic agents and terrorists during their games. However, Shattered Web (the new operation that reaches Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) introduces unique characters with their own names, dialogues, background and animations.

The new operators and agents are available as rewards for progressing in missions. Complete missions and earn stars to unlock and equip them. Or use the default operators and agents to see the pre-existing characters configured for each map.

For those less familiar with the subject, CSGO Shattered Web introduces a progression system essentially identical to the increasingly frequent battle passes, where we get predetermined rewards as we level up. It is possible to level up by completing game challenges or through microtransactions.

So, CSGO will welcome a total of 22 characters, which translate into ‘skins’ of different oddities that we can wear on the new celebration screen. Apart from this, Shattered Web welcomes new maps and modes to the popular Valve shooter, although at a price much higher than the previous operations.

I remind you that Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive released on August 21, 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
