How to Download Custom Maps in Halo Reach MCC
Forge and File Share are currently disabled for the PC version of Halo Reach; with recent news from 343 Industries who have stated that the work on Forge and Theater is somewhat extensive and that the team is working on bringing it to PC.
Due to this little inconvenience, you are going to have to work around it.
Since the feature is unavailable, the work-around to this is that you will have to download the maps manually from other players.
To do this head to the player menu which can be done by clicking the avatar icon (Top right of the Main Menu).
Click your name and then ‘Find Player’. In this area, you will put in the name of the person who is hosting good custom maps.
“Jesus in Malibu” is currently popular within the community, so you might want to give it a try.
If you want, you can go ahead and search for other people hosting maps and try those out.
After doing the above steps, you will find yourself on the profile of the person you entered the name of.
You can simply download the Halo MCC custom maps from the player’s profile by clicking the ‘File Share’ option.
